The problem with your 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 could be caused by a number of things. It could be a simple issue like a blown fuse or a more complex problem with the wiring or switch. To determine the cause of the problem, you'll need to do some further testing.
First, make sure the fuse is good. If the fuse is good, check the wiring for any obvious signs of damage such as fraying, corrosion, or loose connections. If you find any damaged wiring, it should be repaired or replaced. If the wiring appears to be in good condition, test the switch. If the switch is faulty, it will need to be replaced.
My husband changed the transmission. We got to drive it for an hour or so. Well that night my horn started going crazy. It would honk then go off then again but it sounded like someone was laying on the horn this time. Well I went out there and nobody is near or in the truck. We go to leave the a few hours later and now the truck isn't wanting to start. Please help...
