Window failure and two horn sounds

Chevrolet Vectra 2007  71000 miles
Once I turn the car off, a window is opened and it does not close. So what I do is to raise it with the electric window raising system. After activating the central locking, two horn sounds are heard, as if there was a failure. I still do not know what might be happening. I hope you can help me and thanks in advance.

Hello, I had the same problem and a locksmith solved it because it was a problem in one of the door locks: it was not informing that the door had been closed. He told me he bridged it and the failure disappeared. Hope my experience helps you.

libby is right. I had the same problem as well and it is a failure in a plate that is located in the door lock, which informs the system that a door is opened, causing the window to open a few centimeters. The horn sounds as well because the system understands the alarm has been activated but there is an open door. In my case, the problem was in the driver's door lock, which is the one that tends to fail. It was replaced a year ago and, apparently, there is a design problem because it has recently started failing again. That is why I do not recommend you to buy a new door lock, but to take your vehicle to a locksmith who can either cancel or bridge the one you have. Good luck.

Engine noise

Chevrolet Vectra 2008  70000 miles
When starting the engine, all the lights are working but the engine makes a clicking noise repeatedly. I was told it could be the battery, but I really do not know what to do. If I change the battery, do I need to configurate the computer? Thanks.

The same happened to me yesterday and the problem was in the gas key, which was making the clicking noise. I changed the key to the neutral position, disabling it, and the car has started working much better. I am planning to take it to the gas service for it to be checked soon.

Jerks

Chevrolet Vectra 2003  145000 miles
Hello, the problem with my vehicle is that, when stopped at traffic light, it purrs continuously. I need to set a gear so that the annoying noise disappears. But since yesterday, gears cannot be changed, or at least they are not registered. I was told it must be the computer that is failing, but I do not know how to make sure that this is the problem and where to buy one. Even more, the interior light has stopped working.

It might be a transmission programming problem or a solenoids failure. I recommend you to scan your vehicle so that a diagnosis is provided.
