Just installed a used transmission and when I take off it won't shift out of first gear unless you let completely off the accelerator and the check engine light came on and the overdrive off light flashes continuously until you turn ignition off what is the problem?

I have a 93 ford explorer xlt that i just bought last week! And just 3 days ago i started hearing the engine kinda struggling when i pushed the gas petal and yesterday it didnt want to catch speed when i pushed the gas and then it stoped on me and when i pulled over there was fluid leaking! The car starts but when i push the gas to move the engine roars but it doesnt move like if i were to push the gas and break at the sametime! Emergency break was off and i wasnt pressing the break! No dashboard lights are on! Can anyone pls help me!!! Im not sure how many miles it actually has because the guy who sold it to me said it was its second time being turne over or something like that! Im not really sure what that means if anybody can please help!

When you put the key in ignition and turn to start the car will not start,you turn the key to off and remove the key all the dash lights stay on only way to turn them off is disconnect the battery. We can start the car with a wire from battery to starter relay but it will not switch off and carries on running even with key out so we have to pull the battery lead off or unplug the ignition switch. The ignition switch and ignition barrel have been replaced but this has not solved the problem. Any help will be appreciated

So this is the second winter in a row that I verify had to replace my battery multiple times. It's only been a week but again today my car wouldn't start. Also once my car is jumped and running game I'm having problems accelerating. If I need to accelerate quickly my check engine light will come and the car almost stalls. Then sometimes while in drive (usually I notice this when on the highway) sometimes my car will de-accelerate for a couple of seconds and I can hear a high pitched noise. I have no idea what this could be and when my car was just in to have the battery replaced my internal computer showed no other issies. I own a 2011 Ford Explorer with about 70,000 miles on it. I am the second owner and I love in Pennsylvania so our winters can be pretty cold!

It started with the turn signals I change the fuse for the turn signals three times within 2 days. Then all of sudden the hazards and turn signals weren't working but the fuse was fine. I tried looking stuff up on the internet at that moment and seemed mentioning of I believe it's called the hazard relay but it's under the dash directly above the OBD2 hook up. So I unplugged it, took it off took it into AutoZone to see if they had a new part and I was just going to buy a brand new relay to to replace it. I took my 2003 Ford Explorer Sport XLT for a smog check. The results came up that I passed all parameters related to emission but the smog tech said the CPU was tampered and not communicating with their Smog testing machine. He hooked up an OBD2 scanner to show me there's no communication between the scanner and they CPU!! He failed my smog test and re - test after I get the problem fixed within 30 days. Won't go into reverse, makes loud whinding noise and when decelerating makes loud whinding noise.

Warning lights. Check gauge, check battery, break system and check engine are all on. Lights and radio all work. It was rattling before it died

It happened to me that after driving for five blocks, the check gage dashboard's light turned on, and as I checked the oil's pressure measurer, it was marking zero. Next I noticed that oil was certainly missing, so I recharged it to a normal rate. But as I started the engine again, the light was still on and the measurer still at a zero level. Any ideas?

I purchased the suv in 2023 and had driven for about a week day 2 into the first week I notice something unusual with the gear shifter. Somehow when I was going to make that exchange from (reverse) to (drive), as shown on the dashboard the vehicle just pauses then I realize it's actually on Neutral. And this was one of the consistent issue I'm faced with even to this day but I've outgrown the habit of getting used to the mechanism. First off the scan tool won’t read codes the oil temp light the battery light is on and service engine soon and brake lights as well Then the gauges won’t work like the speedometer rpm water temp I’m thinking a ground seeing as how we just did all the gaskets on top of the motor

I replaced strearing column, had to put old one back in and the hazards and flashers are not working. There is a purple and orange and a tan and... wire that was not put in. They have nothing on the column that matches the wires. I changed bulbs and the fuses are good

Bought the explorer a week ago. Had to jump start it to move it. Only blinkers and hazards were not working. Got it home and pulled battery to charge, checked fuses, then next day installed battery that was in it. When truck was fired up and running. Found that the power windows, interior overhead lights(dome), stopped working, the 4x4 hi/low range indicator light on dash is blinking+switch on dash will not do anything either, went today for another test drive and when I got back ,shut off engine, battery was dead,no start. Different battery in truck running- volt meter read 13.5. Is there a control module for these items. And do i replace alt due to low output.
