Stalls when driving

Nissan Pathfinder 2006  66500 miles
I have a Nissan Pathfinder which stalled when driving and it didn't start again. The fuel pump has been replaced and the engine could be started but the problem unluckily returned. I was told the cause could be the IPDM E/R but I would like to know other opinions before buying that piece.

Try hitting softly to the fuse box, which might have a damaged relay which is a manufacturing problem.

Stalls

Nissan Pathfinder 2004  115000 miles
It has happened twice to me that when I accelerated my car deeply, it stalled. When I turn it on again, after 2 seconds it stalled once more. Even worse, when I finally worked out how to hold it turned on, it wouldn't go over 2500 rpm as it entered in a short circuit. I was told the problem might be with the maf sensor, what do you think? What can I do to avoid this happening again? Thank you in advance.

I had your same problem and to know whether it is a MAF failure, you should check the oxygen flow in order to create a perfect mix of fuel and oxygen and thus have a good burning. You can as well check the internal resistance of your vehicle. In my case, once I replaced the MAF sensor, it started working perfectly again.

My car took me from Oregon to Connecticut and back. I need my car. I bought relay but feel its the wrong one. Napa gave me engine relay. I asked for Fuel pump relay. Moving back th east coast in may. Thank you
You don't realize how much you miss your car until its not running.

If the car died and will not restart, it could be a problem with the fuel system or a malfunctioning component.
Here are a few things you can try:

Check the fuel pump relay. The fuel pump relay is responsible for turning on the fuel pump when the car is started. If the relay is not functioning properly, it can cause the car to not start. You can check the relay by inspecting it for any visible damage or wear and by testing it to see if it is functioning properly.
Check the fuel pump. The fuel pump is responsible for pumping fuel from the fuel tank to the engine. If the fuel pump is not functioning properly, it can cause the car to not start. You can check the fuel pump by inspecting it for any visible damage or wear and by testing it to see if it is functioning properly.
Check the fuel filter. The fuel filter is responsible for filtering contaminants out of the fuel before it reaches the engine. If the fuel filter is clogged or damaged, it can cause the car to not start. You can check the fuel filter by inspecting it for any visible damage or wear and by replacing it if necessary.

Power loss and stalls

Nissan Pathfinder 2014  20000 miles
Since my car reached 10000km, it has been presenting several problems: power loss, tries to stall and even jerks. It is dangerous to drive it at low speeds. No solution has been yet found.

If your car is equipped with CVT transmission then go to your nearest dealer to replace the CVT. For your information this should be covered under warranty

Surging uphills

Nissan Pathfinder 2009  77000 miles
My 2009 2.5 litre turbodiesel pathfinder has recently started surging when I am going up hills... Initially it started happening randomly only around the 2500 rpm range however it seems to do it now when the engine is warm and between 2000 and 2500 rpm. I noticed today when I was going up a hill and it was doing this that it was also blowing a lot of black smoke... it only does it under load and any other time drives fine...

2009 2.5 diesel automatic Pathfinder sudden stalling at low revs

Nissan Pathfinder 2009 2.5Diesel automatic 125000 miles
My recently purchased Pathfinder suddenly developed stalling at low revs / idle in slow moving traffic or at traffic lights etc. It would start again each time with some revs but progressively the stalling became too regular and dangerous. I had the AA out who diagnosed a malfunctioning Throttle Position Sensor. I replaced that (10min job) and had the ECU accept the replacement. An hr in and the stalling returned!!...Spoke with my very learned 4x4 mechanic who had come across this situation across other vehicle brands before and suggested I replace the Crankshaft Sensor and possibly the Camsha… Read complete

Maf air flow scensor or suction control valve. Try that first before outlaying big money.
