Volkswagen Beetle problems and issues

First issue the radio was draining my battery. I had the radio disconnected. No issues until now. The electric to the windows do not work and the car alarm goes off randomly. My neighbor that is a mechanic looked at the wiring in the door and said no wires were broke. Not sure what it could be.

After driving for a bit a weird whistling sound can be heard but driving above 40 miles per hour it stops but if i let go of gas or just stopped at a red light it begins whistling loud. When i shut off car it slowly shuts down as if im shitting down some nulclear plant. Please help

My car thinks the top is down so an alarm sounds every time I take off. Is there any way to disconnect that alarm? It sounds like it's coming from dash and it's the same alarm that's sounds when headlights are on and I open my door. It's driving me insane. I can't afford $150 just to diagnose.

Car start’s fine. So my problem is lights and horn. Turn signals heater fan doesn’t always work restart the car start it again. Sometimes the fan works go to turn. The headlights on kills the fan. Sometimes it doesn’t but I’ve noticed if the fan works and it headlights work and you go to hit high beams for your drone more current. It kills it again check the light switch it’s fine, anybody else have this issue?

Battery is good engine won't turn over car is completely dead

My car will turn over but not fire i charged the battery already. And i can hear the fuelpump kick on.so now what do i do

When the turn signal is on and I step on the break all the lights flash and dash board.

When I bought the car (60,000 miles used, 6 years old) the check engine light would go on and off but the code reader returned nothing with any clues for an actual issue…really vague…also the interior light would go on and off when turned off completely randomly. My car only goes into reverse so I put a code reader on it on the car because my check engine light was on and the codes that came back where gear monitoring 00652 and the transmission temp fluid sensor (g93) 00300 I've had the chance mission fluid changed and a new gasket put on but the card shift gears but doesn't want to roll into gear example drive it goes a little bit forward but it doesn't go like it's supposed to I have to Rev on the gas pedal in order for it to move and when it does move but only moves real slowly please help oh also I also wanted to know is there a such thing as resetting the tranny and if so how would I do that

Put in drive but not move i replace used trans i need check the TCM but i dont found help me Please

My 2006 Volkswagen beetle makes a very loud whining noise while in gear when pressing the brake pedal

Just died won’t start. Replaced fuel pump still won’t start... obd2 code P0135 which I had before died. (Comes on and off).

Will a code show up for “crankshaft center sensor” or “camshaft sensor” on my code reader while just cranking engine over? How about bad computer?

Electric fans not coming on

2005 VW beetle convertible with 133,000 miles. Starts fine and after few minutes the top ajar light starts flashing then the lights on the display come on (one by one-temp light-ABS light-airbag light-check engine light) then the radio shuts off then warning beeps and eventually the car stalls and will not restart. We have recently replaced the battery-relay to the battery-fuses on the battery relay-alternator and another battery. Any ideas?

My car wont shift at all in drive mode but if I slide it over to th manual side it shifts fine until it goes into 3rd and overdrive if I stop and turn off the car and reset the tranny it may or may not shift ok for a bit any suggestions

When you start the car it makes a loud humming sound and won't stop

This doesn't happen all the time but when it does, I start the engine and after about 60 seconds a humming starts up and gets louder and louder then maintains. When I shut off the engine in buzzes back down, it sounds like a nuclear reactor starting... I was thinking it might be the engine fan or a bad starter solenoid. I could use some advice...

Need to find fuse for my license plate light

The middle wire on the battery terminal buss bar is getting hot when running. Additionally the car will suddenly die at low speed and sometines the key won't turn. Are the three related. We just got the car as a repo and the previous owner apparently had issues because the middle wire has been spliced about 8" from the termial box and it has a brand new battery. I am thinking it could be the ignition switch. Where can I find an electrical diagrahm

My speed warning is set at 90, but it is dinging as soon as I start going 1 mph) and gives me warning that I have exceeded 90 mph
