The stop start is not working when i stop at signal or any where the engine doesnt switchs off.
When i switch it of and turn on it says Error and i have checked it with the computer. On computer it says
Starter activation, return message terminal 50; short circuit to ground lopen circuit. Permanent

Hi, everyone. For a while I ignored the epc light (stupid, I’m aware) after a while my car just stopped turning on. Before it completely stopped, it would try to turn on and after the second or third time it would turn on. Now, it still attempts but will not turn all the way on anymore. It keeps telling me to depress the brakes or occasionally mentions my airbags. But, the only light that ever come on my dashboard are the EPC, BATTERY and ENGINE light. I’m starting to think it’s the battery and if not that then perhaps my alternator? I’m not sure. Has anyone else had this problem?
