Engine mounting failure

Volkswagen Eurovan 2003
The engine mounting is useless; it has broken down four times already. The gear shift system is continuously loosened due to a rubber wear. I am really disappointed.

Clutch replacement

Volkswagen Eurovan 2007  450000 miles
To all those who have an Eurovan, I definitely recommend you to change your clutch for a Jetta 2.0 one. It is not as powerfull, but the van will work properly and you will avoid future problems.

Power loss and stalls

Volkswagen Eurovan 2009  250000 miles
After driving without a problem for an hour, when I accelerate my van over 60 mph, the engine suddenly stalls completely, as if there was no fuel reaching it. I need to wait 5 minutes and it then starts again, but the failure appears once more when speeding up. Once it fails for the first time, the problem appears more frequently each time. I hope someone can help me.

I recommend you to check the fuel pressure.

You should scan your vehicle. If you let me know the codes that are indicated, with its numbers and letters, I can try to help you.

Power loss

Volkswagen Eurovan 2006  100000 miles
My Eurovan loses power before reaching 1000 rpm, but it then recovers. It does not exceed 3000 rpm either. These failures appeared after an oil change. I work in an area of uphill and downhill roads.

Check the crankshaft sensor.

Engine failure

Volkswagen Eurovan 2006  190000 miles
When I bought the van, I clutched and it responded immediately, and it accelerated perfectly. However, it has now started failing. When cold, it does not run the same way as it did before and, after driving for an hour, I need to change the speed to 3000 rpm. On uphill roads, the vehicle loses power and, even though the engine strives, it is really slow. Please help me.

Acceleration failure when starting

Volkswagen Eurovan 2004  666787678 miles
When starting the engine, it does not accelerate properly. I've already changed the computer kit, pedal, throttle body and two injectors, but the failure persists.

Replacements

Volkswagen Eurovan 2006  215000 miles
These vans need too many replacements: brake plate, dics, clutch bearing, steering rack and even the flywheel. It is really expensive.

If its got a turbo, the whole kit needs to be changed. It is expensive because the flywheel needs to be replaced too due to the turbo's jerks.

Power loss

Volkswagen Eurovan 2006  60000 miles
After changing the filters and oil, my van (diesel engine) has started having power failures. When scanning the vehicle, the mechanic told me it was the electric resistance, but I investigated a little bit more and I believe it might be the EGR that is failing: What do you think about it?

Buddy, the same happened to me and it was the EGR sensor that was causing the problem.

Personal experience

Volkswagen Eurovan 2006
Only one month after buying my diesel van, it stalled in the middle of an avenue and in the agency they said the warranty was expired because I had tried solving the problem by myself before. Luckily, I was finally able to repair the mechanic problem. But after that, failures have been appearing continuously, at least once a month. I am really disappointed and do not recommend this van at all.

The problem is that it is not easy to drive a diesel van.
