Oil light turns on

Volkswagen Vento 2006  145000 miles
The oil light indicator turns on. I've taken it twice to the agency. The first time, I was told that the vehicle was mechanically perfect and that it might be a failure in the sensor plug. The problem persisted so I returned ten days later, left the car a whole day there and they are now telling me that the problem is solved, but the light keeps turning on.

The oil light usually turns on because the chip that is under the crankcase is either disconnected or loose. Remove it, clean it and connect it again and your problem will be solved. In my case, I sticked it so that it does not move any more.

Lubrication light on uphill or downhill roads

Volkswagen Vento 1998  106000 miles
When taking uphill or downhill roads at 2000-2500 rpm, the lubrication light and alarm turn on. I've already changed the oil pump, but the problem remains. They only turn off if I suddenly accelerate hardly at more than 2500 rpm. The oil and filters are new. What might be the failure if the scanner does not indicate anything?

Hello, Richard. Check the resistance from the oil sensor that is found in the engine crankcase.
