Valves failure
Mitsubishi Lancer 2006 196000 miles
I would like to know whether the Lancer's valves are hydraulic or mechanic, as there is a valve that is making an annoying noise when the car is still cold, for around two minutes. Once it regulates and warms up, the noise disappears.

The same happens to me, I do not know if the valves are self-regulating.

Lancers from 2000-2003 have valves which are self-regulating. The rest I do not know.
