After 9 months and 21000km, the engine wouldn't start. VW service found dead short in gearbox. They said not repairable and ordered a new Transmission. When transmission removed, mechanic said and showed me immusification in oil cooler lines. They drained oil and found the colour brown and water in bottom. Now VW will not replace under warranty. Now going through Govt to force them to replace transmission. Service manager admitted there was no evidence of vehicle being submerged. This is totally unacceptable.
