The dash lights come on but when I try to turn it on, there is nothing

The electrical system goes off when I try to start the ignition thereby causing the engine not to start and all lights off untilk I touch battery head before light and electrical systems come up again… 

My problem started three months ago when the engine started stalling suddenly, I was able to start it again but it would stall once more after a while. At that moment, I was told it was the coil that… 

When I go to try and start my 2004 Chevy Malibu. I will turn the key to the on position and then try to turn it over. When I try turning it over it won't even crack over. It doesn't do anything.

The battery doesn't keep a charge but my car won't start if we jump start it we change out the fuse still nothing doesn't even try to turn over
