Hello, I have recently bought an Audi a4 2.8 and my problem is that the airbag indicator turns on and then off, and sometimes remains blinking. How can I solve this? I would as well like to know what "in 2" (complementary services) means or at least what it refers to, as I've changed the oil and filter and it keeps turning on. If anyone can help me, I will be really glad. Thank you.

In 2004, when driving a long distance, the vehicle suddenly lost power, the accelerator stopped responding with its evident risk, and the EPC light turned on. It was momentarily solved by changing 4 spark plugs and 4 ignition coils. But, after 20 days, the car started having the same failures again. I took it to another mechanic this time, who replaced the fuel pump and told me the spark plugs and ignition coils had nothing to do with my problem. Actually, he explained to me that my real problem with the fsi is in the fuel, which needs to be of 99 octanes. However, this fuel is not available in my country, so there is nothing I can do to solve it. So, check carefully before buying an fsi.

Got in my audi a4 earlier (2005 model) turned the ignition on... nothing working on the dash apart from the handbrake light and airbag light. Crank it, starts briefly then died. Won't start, dash lights and gauges not functioning at all! now i know that if it starts then dies straight away it's usually an immobiliser issue, but why would the dash not work? long shot, but anyone had this before? i know there are a few people on here with a4's,

My headlights shut off once and awhile, along with my heater blower, dash lights go out, Windows won't work, sunroof won't work, and one or 2 other things that I can't think of right off.. I've changed the body control module "BCM" or they call it the comfort control module.. didn't fix it.. what the he'll could it be???? I'm at a loss here with this thing! Car is in killer shape and runs and drives awesom.. but at night the head lights will just all of a sudden shut off along with the rest of the stuff I wrote ^^^^ this.. HELP PLEASE!!?? love love my car, but not when I'm rolling down the road at night and the lights decide to shut off.. they will style of anywhere from 2 seconds, to 30 or so..

I have an oil pressure sign on the glow plug sign is flashing the ESP warning is on. I've been losing power every so often driving and today I was over taking and all the above warning lights have come on.
I pulled over turned car off and waited when I went to turn car back on it took a while to turn over and start, I wasn't far from home so I turned round and headed the 15min drive back half way hm battery light came on as well and car died so I waited and got it going again it took a bit to turn over. I got home its booked in with an Audi garage tomorrow but being a girl I would like a rough idea of what's going on any ideas thanks

While driving, my car lost all power, no dash lights, etc. It spuddered to a parking lot. I replaced the battery, and checked all fuses, I regained power, but car still will not turn over.

Iv just bought an audi a4 97'. The airbag light stays on. Is there a way of turning it off?

Coil 6mnths old now when firing is uneven

When I start the car the parking brake and abs light comes on with a beep the car runs fine

Recently had major service , with so called correct oil, but came back and rattle developed , so put 1/2 pint of magnetic oil in her and then half bottle of noisy hydraulic lifter oil from b & q superstore , could not beleive my eyes when I saw this , so anyway after 2 days , fingers well crossed the nose as disappeared , also I now rev engine when turning car off, just like we used to with old motors, but well this may be contributing to the lifter noise going ! Please god let it come back, also car is running supreme and the engine power as defiantly increased since major service , I have cherished my Audi over the years though , hopefully it will battle on for years to come ! Try this method before large garage repairs and please let me know the outcome.
