There is a shaft that comes from the engine and then there is another one that comes out of it and goes to the wheels. Through a set of gears, it moves at different speeds even when the engine moves at just one constant speed, so it takes advantage of the engine's power. They may be manual or automatic.
Hi, I own a Camaro v8 1996, automatic transmission and gears change when revolutions reach 6000-7000 per minute. Can anyone please inform me which might be the problem? Thanks.
It must be the TPS sensor. Check the throttle body and the automatic transmission. I also have a Camaro 1994 and that usually happens when the engine is cleaned. I'm sure that must be your case.
