Chevrolet Equinox 2006 90000 miles
I have an Equinox van 2006 and it has happened many times to me that the TC light turns on and, consequently, the vehicle stalls and it won't start again. Can anyone help me please?

Allie, before it stalled, has it jerked when changing the gears? Have you tried starting with the lever in l? I ask you these questions because something similar occurred to me and it was the valves' body.

If it jerks when changing the gears, then the TC light turns on and it stalls, your problem is in the valves body. It is solved by checking and tuning it, you don't need to change the whole transmission. I took my Equinox 2006 to an expert who did this and it is now like a new one.

This same thing happened to me and it was the valves' body. It was changed and the problem disappeared. It was rather expensive but it is nine months now since it was fixed and everything the problem has not returned.

I have a 2009 equinox and while driving the whole control panel starts going wacky up and down and then stalls and quits running. You let is sit for a few minutes and srarts and drives for a bit then does the same thing again.

Sounds like you need a alternator I'd get it tested. Not sure your location but I took mine to autozone its free and I didn't even have to remove it.

My Equinox has been running rough last 2 months when you hit the gas to catch up to speed it boggs out and then eventually gets to were it needs to be but a lot of times when coming to a stop it stalls out I put in neutral and it fires right back on long story short it last stalled in my driveway 3 days ago and in my opinion it is possibly some sort of electrical issue or gas issue i did go get the starter checked and it's fine so help me please lol

I had that problem intermittently as well for about 2 weeks I ended up replacing the starter relay, & fuse fuel pump relay or fuse whichever it called for then I replaced the battery and alternator then had my computer reset it's been almost 3 weeks and I've now had no issues cranking it up. Now the mylink is another story ps. I've heard that the 2.4 model has a oil consumption problem and a problem with the pistons getting clogged especially if your using the eco mode regularly. My 16 equinox lt 2.4 has about 78000 miles on it I have had so many issues and will probably be trading it in ASAP
It's the front catalytic converter dude. I've dropped $3700 in repairs to come to that conclusion....and it worked. Speaking from experience. The oem go bad unusually early (50-60k) and don't throw a code until it's completely too late.
Yes I have the same issue , it’s prob an electrical fault . Order a code reader (OBD) and turn key on 2 clicks , pull up codes and clear them and then it should fire right up and sometimes when the battery goes dead it takes a jump with another car for like 20-30 min and it’s a process let me see if I can find instructions to post for you but I have to have an el truck source ( jump with another car ) and or full battery to get it going and reset the anti theft then it will start , the only other reason would be if it needs a new crank sensor or cam sensor

My 2020 Chevy Equinox states "Lane Keep Assist system unavailable" I assume it's the fuse because the front collision warning system also stalls. I contacted the chevy dealership and they told me to bring it in. However, I'm trying to find the fuse number to change it myself but can't seem to find it in the manual. Any help?

When i turn my key its like it stays stuck and the key can come off when its still on is it just the ignition switch or can it be more things its almost like when it starts and its on sometimes like it wants to restart also will it make my battery die if its not working right
