A small (approx 5 mm diameter) clear plastic pipe is dangling open ended in engine bay. I have found a nipple type fitting which it fits onto..but does it belong there???
That looks like the fusebox under the hood, but the horn fuse is inside, in the fusebox below the dashboard. This diagram is in Spanish, but it might help: the horn fuse is the one that says "claxon": https://www.opinautos.com/citroen/berl…
Let me know if it helped!
Thanks Brunex,
Found the fuse eventually right up behind the passenger dash/fascia cover. Tested it in situ and the fuse was ok!
Any idea of the location of the horn relay and the horn itself?
I was impressed with the Spanish manual because the UK owners manual is next to useless. Almost seems designed to get you to return to dealer for expensive repair. !
@siroccoI'm glad it helped! No idea other than that, sorry. Looks like you found the manual that was here: https://www.opinautos.com/citroen/berl…
Let me know if you get to fix it!
Yes, all fixed now. It was the wiring to the horn switch which is located under the airbag assembly in the steering wheel, not making a proper connection. Took the assembly apart and reseated the wire to the switch and all working ok. Thanks for your help
