Will not start SolvedSolved

Dodge Ram 1500 2020 Big horn hemi 45000 miles
Intermittent problem. On entering truck brake pedal will not depress, push button only goes to acc and starter does not engage. Lock truck and try remote start just get loud click at starter. Put on and release Park brake no change. Battery tests good. After many failed attempts over many minutes (10 to 100) truck finally starts. No codes. Has happened 4 times in last 3 months. Dealer cannot diagnosis, found loose connection on starter and replaced. Mechanic thinks that MIGHT have caused hard brake; doesn't make sense in my mind that an electrical connection could lock brake pedal.

I am going to trade it. I cannot count on it to be there when I need it.

I purchased a 2023 Warlock with key start. Talked to 4 mechanics and no one could explain the frozen brake pedal.

Make sure the key is not partially in the start position. Turn it back til it clicks in

Started the other day, rolled 3 ft and it died and now will not start. Acts like there's no fuel but it's got half a tank.
