Replaced engine and now runs. Then it stalls when you put in gear then restart and it does the same in drive or reverse

GMC Sierra has caused my check engine light to come on I've unclipped it and checked the wire but it has no reason to not work I don't know what's going on also my compressor for my air conditioner is no longer cutting on I wonder if this has something to do with the grill shutter I need to know what my best solution is do I just get a new grill shutter or is there a fuse or something for it I need help
