Hello, my automatic Honda Fit 2006 started failing and it seems to be a standard vehicle. This is because, when starting the engine, speeds do not enter properly and I need to introduce first gear and then return it to direct. A mechanic told me it was a CVT transmission failure, which cannot be repaired. Is there any other option? Has anyone had this problem? How did you solve it? Thanks.
Hi, everything can be solved. Before anything is done to the automatic transmission, take the vehicle to an Honda certified workshop, scan it and ask them to check it personally. On the other hand, CVT boxes can be repaired and even its parts can be found individually.
Thank you, Tranquilla, that's what I did. I took it to an Honda agency and the problem was in the spark plugs, there were some that were burnt. They were replaced and the car is now working without any failures. Thank you for your response.
My automatic Honda fit Aria is jerking when shifting to gear one and at a low speed... And it accelerates better at higher speed.
I have replaced new plugs, fuel pump, braking pads but there is no improvement.
What could be the problem?
