It may be manually activated with a window crank, or electrically activated with just a switch. Cranks are always attached to the door itself, while switches may be either on the door or the central console.
I thought my drivers side window was maybe frozen shut because when I pressed button to put it down it made the noise as if it was trying to go down, but wouldn't. So I tried the passanger window, same thing happened. As went with the remaining back windows.
I tried locking and releasing and opening again, making sure there was no ice build up because it was cold. THEN found out the fan for my heater wouldn't work either. Not sure if windows are related to no heat? Or why my heater stopped working
