It is one of the main elements of the distribution system that powers up the engine cylinders. Its rotating movements are coordinated with the movements of the crankshaft. Through the cams that are welded into it, it opens and closes the valves through which the fuel mixture enters and the exhaust gases get out.
Hi everyone, this is my situation: due to temperature problems, the cylinder head gasket was changed. Once assembled back, it wouldn't start. The starting motor turns but he engine won't start, what means, it has no injection. The camshaft sensor has been checked and it sends the right pulsations, just as the crankshaft sensor, but the computer won't give pulse to the injectors. That is the one and huge problem. What might have happened? May have some anti-crash switch been activated? I hope someone can help me. Thanks! It would be really helpful if anyone had the injection system's diagram of the Nissan Frontier/Navara/pickup, depending on your country.
