Engine cuts out then no spark
Opel Corsa 1999 177750 miles
The car starts perfectly, runs for about 50km and then the engine just stops. I was tod it was the coil, which I replaced but the problema remains. Corsa light 1300 engine. I find the tappetcover housing behind the coil gets extremely hot.

From one day to another, the engine did not start any more. I've already changed the ignition coil, but nothing got better. What else might be causing the problem?
