Peugeot 307 2004 150 miles
My car's steering was hard for two weeks and, two days ago, it softened considerably, and it is much better now. I consider it might be some sensor failure but I would appreciate anyone's opinion and suggestions.

Some time ago, my Peugeot 307 started having a steering failure: it hardens considerably. I've changed the power steering pump and, even though it got better, the problem appears every time I'm parking the car or driving at low speeds. I took it to a specialist who told me I needed to upload the Peugeot software according to the year of the vehicle. I would like to know if anyone knows anything about this. Thank you very much.

If you've got a power steering, you will need to repair the wiper system, just like an ignition engine.

Doesn't seem like it, the power steering liquid is not dark red
@puggalleIs there the right amount of fluid, right? If everything seems ok, maybe something related to the electric pump is damaged.
