When the car is closed and turned off, the front lamps and the windshield wipers suddenly activate, consuming the battery charge. This only happens when it is really cold and the windows fog up. Can you help me please? Thank you in advance.

This happened to a friend of mine and what turned out to be the problem was the following. Inside the trunk, there is a set of wires with a connector that is not used. In my friend's case, this connector was in the middle, inside the spare tire hole, which was filled with water. We removed it from under the water, noticed it was absolutely sulphated, cleaned it and the problem was solved.

When the car is running, the windshield wipers suddenly activate and then stop. The same occurs when turning the lights or air conditioning on.
