Engine stall

Runs fine on highway with no problems. When you get to town and stop at stop light it starts to buck and shake and rough engine. It will usually die but let it set a while it will start back up and if you go back on highway it runs great. Have replaced crank sensor and plugs and wires. Any suggestions??

I will let you know if my husband figures it out. My car is having the same problems and I've had it ten years without an issue.

Found the problem to be the fuel pump. New fuel pump and problem solved.
CommentRadio Doesn’t Have Power

I put a new radio in using all correct wire harness needed. Everything is connected correctly but when I start the car I have no power to the radio. Any ideas all would be helpful.

I did the same thing only I didn't use a wire harness if I had to connect all the wires one by one and I wasn't getting any power to the stereo once I would turn the key on and it didn't get any power at all unless I had the red wire constantly connected to the hot but after I ran a wire from the red to a fuse in the fuse box to the left of the console inside my car turned it on and still nothing but then I push the power on the stereo itself and voila not sure if this will help you but after you turn the key on try pushing the power on the stereo sometimes you have to do that initially but then after once you turn the key off and then on again the stereo will power up on its own hope this helps

I have a 2002 Chevy Cavalier 2.2 liter engine. Manual transmission. I recently had to punch out my ignition and use a push button to start my car. The other day someone tried to steal my car and punched out the entire ignition and pulled the wire harness for the yellow, white and black wires that run to the ignition. Now my car won’t start and the Anti Theft (solid) has been engaged and my car won’t start at all. Someone pls helllllppp me.
Car died while driving no start

Ignition switch

Dash lights quit working after I replaced the heater core

Up until I replaced the heater core a couple days ago, all of the lights on and in my car worked fine, after I finished putting the dash back together I went for a drive and noticed as it was getting dark that my dash lights are not working. So I went home and grabbed my 12 v light tester and checked all of the fuses with the lights turned on and the ignition on. All of the fuses are good, so I took apart the dash and traced the wires back to the instrument cluster, everything seems good but still no dash lights??? Could somebody please help me with this? Thank you

Start good warm runs bad
Chevrolet Cavalier 1988 Z24 2.8 litre 195000 miles
Starts fine sounds smooth. The minute it warms up it misses sputters stall dies. Have to double foot it to get it home. Let it cool off rand repeats all over again. I have replace all the sensors two new brains new cool packs new plugs and wires ran injector cleaner through it sea foam through it i'm ready to scream. One day it started acting up like this nothing traumatic happened to the car. Super frustrated. I read on a blog that where the computer is grounded under the coil packs sometimes the harness look like they are connected but here not getting enough connection they were all right. Any suggestions ? Help
