This fault comes up on the consul and you can't start the car. It happened twice today and I managed to get it going each time after about 15 tries. It seems you have to press the ignition start at the same time as moving the steering wheel. I have now left the car at the dealers yard but it is Sunday and there is no one there. Any one else had this problem?

I started up my 2010 Malibu power steering light came on service esc, service traction control. Ordered replacement power steering motor and shaft. No change in lights. Changed out 80 amp mega fuse. No change. They are saying I have to replace the whole steering column and everything. I'm a single dad so money is tight. If anyone has any ideas please let me know thank you. Ps I have lost my Cruz control and horn both quit.

It's only some weeks since I've bought a Malibu 2005 LX, and the steering has already started presenting problems. As I start the engine it works properly, but only after some minutes it hardens considerably. I've been told that the problem is the steering wheel's post or the diaphragm spring which is located under the steering wheel. Do you know where I can get these car parts, used not new?

Radio controls on steering wheel isn’t working

Traction and ESC light flashing took car to the dealer was told i needed to replace the Accelerator pedal position sensor. Had that replaced and i'm still having the issue the lights across the dash board says service traction and service ESC. Does anyone really know why this is happening? Why is this not on recall? Problem is occuring every other day. Very frightening.

One day my car announced a power steering failure and consequently the steering wheel stiffened. I then turned the car off and on again and it seemed as if nothing had occurred. However, after several days the problem returned and it is becoming more and more frequent as time goes by. Check engine light and the car continues to shut down to reduced power service esc service traction all these warnings. I have had code for the purge valve the canister vent valve the fuel pump the throttle body and have replaced all of these things reset codes and while driving through the first cycle the car all the sudden the engine power gets reduced and i have to pull over the engine light and traction control light are back on and so i start the process again I can not pass emissions please anyone

The wheel tries to lock up it says service steering drive with car and the radio shuts off.
