4x4 not engaging.
Ford F-150 2010 5.4L 187000 miles
Hi every one. My 2010 5.4 f150 had problem with 4x4 System. Not engaging when I put switch to 4h or 4l shows message ((chech 4x4)). I took to workshop he told me to replace 4x4 control MUDLE. I did but nothing change.
The history of the problem start a year ago it took me several tries to get it engaged. But Now never. Somone tokd me to change the 4x4 control motor. But I want to be sure What is the problem.
Pls help lf you can.

Same thing happened with mine, changed the switch control and works great
