It is made up of a butterfly check valve that regulates the air passage to the engine. It can be mechanically activated through the accelerator pedal, or electrically through a servomotor according to certain variables calculated by the ECU. It should be cleaned regularly.
I did an engine overhaul recently and my car was struggling to start at first but now it's starting okay but it's not idling. Could it be the throttle body?Please help
