When speeding up, it loses power and jerks every now and then. When reducing the speed, in 3rd or 2nd gears, explosions are heard. When starting the car, the engine is powerless and only after two minutes or so it stabilizes.

Had a flat battery last week, had to use another car to work, came home and got nrma to jump start it as battery was completely dead by then. Filled up the tank and it felt heavier than usual. Headed off on a 2 hour trip and as soon as I hit above 60km an hour it started to stutter every 5 to 10 seconds. Accelerating is fine, no issues. Only when coasting and slowing and only over that speed. Driving around town doing 50-60 I don't really feel anything.
Had a service done, new filters galore. Still happening.

Is it possible the dead battery has caused some issues.

I was told by the mechanic that it could only be minor and not to pay to diagnose as it could cost thousands and to try and see if anyone has experience with this issue first.

Car jerk between speed of 20 to 100km/h

I have started noticing irregular reving up of the rev counter needle and I can feel a slight jerking motion of the vehicle while speeding up. What could this be?

So it started out one day when I hit the gravel back roads that I always take. My truck started jerking and acted like it wanted to die everytime I got on them. But after a few days my truck started to jerk when it was in fourth gear just cruising along at 40 to 50 miles an hour. Than one day it starts doing it in third or second. Than one day it just jerks and dies and than it did same thing but died twice. The thing is , is that it's the same symptoms but never constant. You never know when it will happen or in what gear but you know that within the day, it will happen. I can't figure it out and the mechanics I know are stumped too.

I was driving my vehicle and it started stalling and hesitating to pick up and when I parked it, it started jerking while idling. Then I drove a short and it the engine just stopped running. I started again and it completely refused To start and it just kept cranking. After checking the intake pipe from engine into the fuel filter chamber, fuel was not flowing when I cranked the engine

Driving normal no jerk up to 2000 rpm
When power is needed it pulls well for a few seconds then starts to jerk but still builds up speed if I release and gently power it up I can get the speed up

Hi all few days ago I left for work 5:30am got down the road and car jerked when I took foot off throttle. Put my foot back down and noticed their was no power car was struggling to move. Traction control light came up on dash. Tried turning it off but would not. So reversed the car all the way back home. Next day thought I would give it another go. I made it 2 houses down the road before traction light come back on also with the check engine light. The car struggled to get back home. Literally wouldn't make it up my drive way.

Does anyone have a clue or ideas of what is happening to my car.

Have a 2015 Ford Ranger XL that is experiencing some transmission issues. The truck starts up just fine but when I put it into gear and start accelerating, the automatic gears make a growling noise and has trouble shifting to the next gears. The car jerks and makes havy noises.

After driving about 10 minutes starts cutting out, jerking and will end up dying have replaced tank and lines

When taking off in drive it jerks at least twice like trans is sliping
