When you turn the key you hear a clicking sound in the fuse panel but starter there’s nothing

Turned my car off at a friend's then wouldn't start again. I've know people to take out my fuses under my hood but anyways my car wouldn't start the lights come on and when I now turn the keys nothing happens. I have 3 fuse boxs two under the hood and one under the steering wheel. I have no manual either to now what needs to go there or if its the starter. Can anyone help me??
