Was hooking up back up camera to reverse light and it blew something now my car won’t start and I if it does it shuts right back off and there are no dash lights but my radio works fine and so does everything else

The stop light and all the rear left lights sometimes turn on and sometimes don't

Put the battery in backwards, because for some reason there’s red tape on the negative which is factory tape and there’s nothing indicating the positive on the positive and all my headlights and tail lights came on so I got to looking at it and figured out the reason backward hooked it up right then it said my battery was dead so I charged it tried to start it at 95% battery and nothing so I shut it off tried again and I turn the key over everything went black, what happened

Attempted to change fuses for taillight try to start nothing

Changed taillight fuse heard thud sound now wont start
