Jingle SolvedSolved

Hyundai Accent 2009  63000 miles
Hello, buddies, I want to share the problem I have with my Hyundai Accent Vision 1.6 A/T 2009 and hope someone can guide me. After changin the oil, filter and distribution kit, I started noticing a jingle in the engine when reaching 2000 rpm, and even stronger when driving along an uphill road. Spark plugs, refrigerant and detonation sensor were changed and both the throttle body and the injectors were cleaned, but the problem persists, even though I only use 92 octanes fuel, the right one for this car. When scanning it, there is no failure indicated, just as when a compression and leakage test is made. What other reason might there be causing the jingle in this specific vehicle? Hope you can give me a hand, thank you.

Buddy, how long is it since the last time you cleaned the fuel tank and pump filter? It is of no use to clean the injectors and everything else if your tank is full of mud. You should as well check the spark plugs' wires to see whether there is some leakage there. At night, turn on the engine and look carefully if any of the wires is sparking. Finally, check that the coil sends enough electrical current.

Hello, alfy, thank you very much for your response. The last thing I've done to my car was checking the tank's state, fuel pump and filter but everything was found in perfect conditions. After that, the IAC valve was cleaned and, after all this, when driving it yesterday, revolutions were over 5000 per minute for some minutes in 3rd (O/D Off) but no jerking nor jingling have appeared. I suppose that the problem had something to do with some cinder that was producing the pre-ignition.

Exhaust fume and spark plugs full of coal SolvedSolved

Hyundai Accent 1998  250000 miles
My vehicle has two main problems: exhaust fume and spark plugs full of coal. The tires have been repaired and all the sensors changed. Yesterday, the coil was failing and only 2 cylinders were working, so this failure was corrected. Even more, I've added a smoke remover product and cleaned the spark plugs, which were certainly well-worn. Its inmediate response was a good one but, after a while, it started failing again, this time there was a power loss when changing to Drive. I bought new spark plugs and, until now, it has responded properly; I'll check tomorrow if this persists. I would like to know if anyone knows why the spark plugs are being filled with coil.

Measure the compressions as it sounds as if there was a compression leakage in the piston ring compressors.

And use the correct engine oil. If oil is to thin this can happen.

Starting failure SolvedSolved

Only when priming the car it starts. Since the moment I changed the common rail sensors, I was not able to start the engine again, not even with ignition. The check indicator does not turn on either.

The reason why the check light does not turn on is that the computer is burnt. In my case, I replaced it as well as the primer and it started. Hope it helps.

P0326=Knock sensor 1 ,P0011=Cam shaft position sensor,P0420= catalytic converter and/or the O2 sensor. My guess is the cam sensor and knock seansor are preventing it from starting

If the car starts sometimes even after replacing the crank shaft position sensor, it could be a problem with the starting system or a malfunctioning component.
Here are a few things you can try:

Check the battery. A weak or faulty battery can cause starting problems. You can check the battery by testing the voltage with a multimeter or by having it tested at an auto parts store.
Check the starter. The starter is responsible for turning the engine over when the key is turned. If the starter is not functioning properly, it can cause starting problems. You can check the starter by having a mechanic diagnose and repair any issues that may be present.
Check the ignition switch. The ignition switch is responsible for providing power to the starter when the key is turned. If the ignition switch is not functioning properly, it can cause starting problems. You can check the ignition switch by having a mechanic diagnose and repair any issues that may be present.
Check the wiring and connectors. If there is a problem with the wiring or connectors in the starting system, it could cause starting problems. Check the wiring and connectors for any loose, damaged, or corroded wires. Make sure all connections are secure and free of any visible damage.
If you are unable to identify the source of the problem or if the issue persists after checking these components, I recommend having a mechanic diagnose and repair the issue to ensure that the problem is properly addressed and the vehicle is safe to drive.

No start problem.

Hyundai Accent 2001 Hatchback 146000 miles
I bought the car after it has been sitting for a year. Put a new ignition coil and battery and it started right up. Ran ok for a couple days. Now it won't start. I put new plugs and wires, cam shaft and crank shaft sensors, fuel filter and fuel pump. I don't hear the fuel pump engaging and I have check all fuses. I am at a loss, any ideas would be appreciated.

Jerks, power loss, stalls

Hyundai Accent 2000  138000 miles
I had to make a long trip with my vehicle and it was a real torture. It was not able to climb slopes, stalled every now and then, jerked and even consumed way too much fuel. The IAC valve, coil, spark plugs and its wiring and both the crankshaft and camshaft sensors had previously been replaced. All the new pieces were original ones, so the mechanic did not understand what was happening. After that, I asked him to show me all the vehicle's contacts, bought an electrical contact cleaner and proceded to clean one by one. Since then, the car has been working without any problems.

Have replaced all recommended sensors input/output transmission speed, vehicle speed, tranny fluid is full and not too bad, thinking of draining and switching out fluid since not knowing what the previous owners used for transmission fluid and read a lot about non- hyundai fluid causing the same issue. At a loss honestly, check engine light will stay off after battery disconnect UNTIL it does its lurch when downshifting from OD to 4th to accelerate. When it shifts rough, it won't go… Read complete

In-tank fuel filter

Hyundai Accent 2014 Sedan 50000 miles
After I had my Hyundai Accent serviced, I noticed it was using nearly 4 times the fuel it should be. Centre told me they changed the in-tank fuel filter during the service. After returning the car they said it was a sensor and needed replacing. Still no change in excessive fuel usage.
