Same problem happens to my Kia Cerato, 2010 97,000kms. Do not know what is wrong, have you found a solution?

You will find the 2008 to 2013 Kia Cerato 2.0 manual can jerk and hesitate on take off, if you have not let out the clutch completely before you accelerate through the gears. You need to change your driving style so as not to accelerate hard while clutch is being released

It’s an auto! And I have tested this, if I am just taking off too fast and nope - slow normal or super fast, when I hit 35kms it does this jerk.

Gearing failures

Kia Cerato 2014  1000 miles
I own a manual Kia and I feel that the gears are set with lots of difficulty. I need to press the clutch deeply so that the change is made softer. Is this normal?

Clutch noise

Kia Cerato 2012  55000 miles
Two months ago, when pressing the clutch pedal, it sounded just like an old hinge, but it was a soft noise. I took it to the agency and, after being serviced, the noise disappeared. However, both when starting the engine or when stopped, at the moment of clutching, the pedal is now making an annoying noise again, and this time it is much stronger. When driving at high speeds and changing the gears, the noise is not heard. Does anyone know what might be happening?

Many failures

Kia Cerato 2010  65000 miles
Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience with my Kia Ceratos. It's got 40000 miles and I am really worried because it has already failed many times: clutch, lamps and even the engine due to a poor maintenance in the mechanic. But what worries me the most is that the steering has failed twice: the first time, the steering tie rod end broke when driving along a paved road and at 6 mph; the second time, which was a few days ago, the steering failed, causing an accident. However, in the agency I've been told that everything was ok. Has anyone else had problems with the steering? I would appreciate your help and comments.

Many failures

Kia Cerato 2006
With only 60000 miles, I've already had too many failures with my Kia:
- turbo, twice
- injectors
- gearbox
- clutch
I certainly do not recommend this vehicle. Take it into consideration when thinking about buying one.
