Chokes when warm

Kia Sephia 2000  263000 miles
Hi, buddies. I have a Kia Sephia II 2000 and its problem is that, when reaching half of the temperature, it starts choking. I then accelerate and it does not respond. I stop it, start it again and it works properly but only a block and the same occurs. I have already changed coils, fuel pump, wires, filters and nothing was solved. The scanner does not indicate any failure. I do not know what else to do.

I also have a Kia Sephia 2000 with the same choking problem. I've changed the catalytic converter but nothing changed. I am now thinking about replacing candles and wires; I'll then tell you what happened.

Fuel pump failure

Kia Sephia 2000
My car has a problem with the fuel pump. I do not know why but, every time I travel, the vehicle overheats. The failure starts with a power loss, the car then chokes and I have to stop, in order for it to cool down. After that, it works properly for weeks. It is a quite strange problem the one I have. When it fails, I have to change the fuel pump and it lasts for a while.

Check the fuel pump engine, which must be damaged. This happens because, as the car overheats, the pump pressure decreases, so it stops working until the car is cool again and it starts working properly once more. This same thing happened to me and you simply need to change this litle internal engine.

Injection failure

Kia Sephia 2000
My vehicle has got automatic transmission and, when driving to a hilly place with the air conditioning on, it comes a moment when the car starts jerking until it chokes and stops working. I need to leave it off for around 20 minutes and it then keeps working as if nothing had happened. One of the worst things is that it does not consume coolant, the engine temperature does not raise and the check engine light does not turn on either. Might it be a sensor that is failing? This has occurred to me even when injectors were just cleaned, it had new spark plugs and had just been tuned up.
