I have a Kia Sportage 2006. Bought as a used vehicle in April 2017...When driving especially when slowing down for traffic lights or to turn a corner, the thing cuts out. It has to be turned off at ignition, put into park then restarted. Is a dangerous situation, waiting for someone to hit my rear end. We have replaced the engine...still playing up. Mechanic is stumped. Has had it hooked up to OBD reader but shows nothing. Is now looking at wiring... if that does nothing will then try the fuel tank. My car usually starts working properly but suddenly stalls. It loses power and the dashboard turns on and off. I've already changed the pump, the injectors, the battery but the problem is still there. Can anyone please help me?

My Jeep Kia sportage 2008 diesel stalls when driving and I do not know why. I've cleaned the tank, changed the battery from the fuel pump, checked the rail and I do not know what else to do. The Check Engine indicator remains turned on, what should I do?

I stopped my car turned it off and when i tried to turn it back on i got no power anywhere. No dash lights no radio no headlights nothing. Battery still reads 12v and connections are fine... Brand new battery. Please help im out of ideas

Warning lights for abs, downhill brake assist on and gear change indicator not working. Also. Cruise control doesn't work and start stop not working. All happened at once. Replaced battery and still same.
Anyone got any ideas??

Accelerating,but transmission drops to 1st gear on its own and gear stick unresponsive. Dashboard lights up with all available warning lights. Stop car, starts after 3attempts, all dash board lights still on then reduces to engine warning light only. Has happened twice in one year. Service center reset electronic computer system first occasion. Now currently looking at all wiring.

Well my sportage was sitting for week because it needed some new tires so eventually I did put them on. But then when I wanted to start the truck up it didn't want to turn also when I turn the key the alarm came on. I did it couple's times but on the last try I turn the key and push the remote key as same time it finally turn on but afterwards my stereo and the light inside didn't come on I push the reset button on still nothing came on I even look at the fuses all of them and they were all good I just don't know what it is

No problem with the battery and alternator and spark plug

First all headlights went out checked fuses relays all seem good. Battery good everything works except headlights. Now car won't start. It'll turn over if you make contact with relay but still not start. Plus at this time have to release shift lock to take it out of park

My car is having trouble recognizing smart key fob to lock/ unlock and even when I use it to press the start stop button. New batteries. I have resorted to using the remote car start. I can't seem to find the actual spot to put the key. I should add it seems to happen in the morning when it's cold more often.

The oil light is on, and the car bump starts. But when you use the key to start the car, it dosent. We’ve changed the starter motor and got a new oil fuse. But still nothing. Any one had any similar problems

My 2013 Sportage would not shift into park so we replaced the shifter but I cannot get the key out of the ignition unless I disconnect the battery. How can I fix this?

I plugged in the car charger for our phone and it immediately shut down. Weve checked every fuse and the fuses are good. We have a new battery in here and cannot figure out what is going wrong and what we can do to get the car back on. Anyone figure out what this could be?

I got my 2005 kia sportage EX used for 1700 last year. There is a distinct winding type noise emitting from the middle rear of the vehicle that gets louder sometimes with acceleration. Recently my car battery went flat after an interior light was left on. Battery was charged and car starts ok, but since then I've had an issue with my radio and bluetooth. They work fine when the engine isn't running, however when I attempt to start the car the radio goes off and then comes back but I can only hear static on all channels and can't connect anything to the bluetooth. When I switch the engine off and turn the radio back on it is fine again. Grateful on any guidance how to fix this issue!!

Bad relay I hope on my taillights. I check bulbs n connection. All good. Took lots of fuses. Anyway. I put bigger one in on a hunch I had n. Lights stayed on after I shut them off. Waited n blew fuse. Bad relay n switch...anything b great.

After the last snow storm my car started smelling like rubber burning, smoke came in through heating vents and battery light came on. 2006 Kia Sportage.

I have a 2001 sportage. Most of the time it runs fine; smooth acceleration, good power but on other times it acts like someting is shuting off. There is suddenly no power at all; it cuts out, than a couple of seconds later it kicks back on than off again. Sometimes it is so bad that i cannot move at all. If i let it cool down for awhile, it will work well for awhile than act up again. I changed the fuel pump, cleaned out the fuel tank replaced the fuel relay, and it worked well for several hours, about 500 miles on the highway, than quit again

Compressor working fan working Freon full happened after removing fuse to reset audio system

Will not start in cold-weather -10 The battery is good. It has good fuel pressure and the computer is showing no codes. Any info would be appreciated
