Starter button... hopefully not the starter

Nissan March 2010 manual, hatchback 156000 miles
After recharging the dead battery all the electronics (dashboard, headlights, stereo, windows) all work fine. However, when I push the starter button, nothing happens. The battery for the key is new. Please help!!

@MaggieOpen your spark plugs... pour some oil and fuel in there... install the spark plugs and start the car... NB it will smoke at first

Helloo having the same problem you must change the bcm... body control module... the main causes is humidity

Well I got sorted, my friend mechanic told me disconnect the negative black pipe from battery for few mins , then reconnect it and the push stop started first time round, it just needed to register my key again after my battery was recharged

I got this sorted after I charged up my battery , my friend told me disconnect the black (-) negative side off battery pipe for few mins , then reconnect pipe, and my start stop button worked straight away car was back working perfectly it just needed to re register the keys
