My recently purchased Pathfinder suddenly developed stalling at low revs / idle in slow moving traffic or at traffic lights etc. It would start again each time with some revs but progressively the stalling became too regular and dangerous. I had the AA out who diagnosed a malfunctioning Throttle Position Sensor. I replaced that (10min job) and had the ECU accept the replacement.
