Same issue here with the high rev when changing in between gears.
Same case here especially after driving for some time my Nissan Tiida Latio 2007 revs and refuses to pick normal gear especially after crossing a bump. It just revs on high gear. I am forced to park and start again. It works for a while then repeats the same thing.
Did you fix it? I'm having the same issue.
@MoeeI have done all this but nothing seems to work. Nissan company doesn't seem to care about our concerns. I think we need to email them directly or carry out a campaign on social media. How comes Toyota is able to respond to the customers complaints but Nissan remains quiet?
@MELLYCheck to see if throttle butterfly is closed completely I've got same issue revs high erratic I did notice the butterfly not closing all the way

When the car starts it stutters and cuts out, it wil start after a few attempts and drive. A couple of times while driving all power was lost, the engine just stopped running. Also the headlights just failed one night but did come back on.

Lights coming out and on is a sign of shirt circuit. Get your car checked by an auto electrician. Otherwise the relays are not working properly.

I had the same issue last week. I was stuck in a traffic jam. Car moved in small gears for 30-40 mins with AC turned on. And after it the car lost its power completely. I was pressing the gas pedal full but the totque wasn't moving beyond 1200 rpm. I turned the engine off and started again and then gave the race, it started working perfectly but then after a minute or so suddenly the power was cut. The same happened more than 20 times before it started working properly again.
@Ali AI couldn't fix it yet and have no idea still how to... It could either be the clutch plate getting too hot or probably the sensors... I am still figuring it out

My nissan tiida can be driving along and then it cut out and I have no power I then have to turn it off and wait a few seconds then start it up why is that

Had same problem with the car suddenlylosing all power mid drive. Went 5 times to my mechanic and no solution he tested everything. Then went to another auto electrician and mechanic and they immediately diagnosed as a switch connected to the accelerator which wasn't working so wasn't 'sending' the engine the right signal. I'm not a car person at all and can't find the documentation from when it happened so sorry for the slightly vague explanation and lack of correct terms, maybe the accelerator pedal switch from what I searched but might be the wrong name. Anyway I hope that helps someone with the issue.
Fuel pick up in tank blocked or fuel pump faulty. Also check fuel filters. It starves witout adequate fuel supply

Hello I have the same issue, did you find the cause?
Good day. The MAF sensor needs to be cleaned sometimes insects or dust clog up the sensor and cause this problem. Please let me know if this helps

Could be that you need the throttle body relearn procedure. I did the same on my car and the revs are very high in park and neutral but seem okay in drive and reverse. Nissan has a manual throttle body relearn procedure you can try or take it to a mechanic with an expensive scan tool. Should take the whole of 10 mins

With that high millage. Could be anything related to the engine. Bad spark plugs, throttle body issues etc. Have you had the car serviced?

My tidda doesn't pick speed after 40 even though you press the speed to maximum. Only the rpm goes high. Even if you stop at traffic lights it's hard to pick speed and move. What is the problem
