New battery dying frequently. Battery & alternator test good. Looking to pull fuses for doors, overhead light, cargo light & trailer hitch.

I replaced the battery and now I have no power steering and the traction control light is on
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I cannot find the dome light fuse anywhere! Can somebody tell me??????

Well it all started one day when i went to the store for lunch turned off my truck went in then came back out, went to start my truck the dash came on as normal, then when i went to start it i turned the key and lost all power everything was gone i coulndt even us my remote to lock/unlock. I tried boosting it and nothing you could just hear the starter click. Eventually i got it towed home took out the battery charged it put it back in and it worked. All of my gauges quit working. Can only see the blinkers when on. Will show the battery symbol before starting. They have gone out before. Then while I was driving they all went to the right, like when you first start it, then started working again. I’ve changed 3 mini 10amp fuses under the hood associated when the cluster to no avail. Just a sushi chef trying to repair it myself and is frustrated at this point. Any advise or tips will be most appreciated thank you oh and it’s the extended cab not crew cab

I have this issue. My cooling fans had gotten where they would stay running after I parked it and running my battery down . Then also my fuel pump stopped working and then started working again. But the fans come on when I turn the key off and turn off when I turn the key on. Now I have no power windows or locks only half of my instrument cluster works my abs and battery light and check engine all stay on . I have checked every fuse that I possibly know of I don't know what else to do?

Sorry in advance for the length of this. This truck has set for a couple of years the mice have found it home. I've not yet found chewed wires anywhere but there has to be some. I put a used battery but a good one in it and tried to start it nothing happened at all. I started looking into the fuses. I found several missing one of my boys must have needed some I guess. I don't know if I have found all that is missing and I'm not sure how to find out if ive got them all replaced. Where is the alternator fuse located on my truck. I can't find anything that says alternator, generator or battery anywhere (except auxiliary batt). My husband says it's not a fuseable link so what am I missing?

I have 98 Chev 1500 4x4. I was trying to crank, would spin over but not crank, kinda like fuel pump bad. But spun over few times then no pwr. Like no battery pwr. Gauges didn't react when key turn to on position. Knew had bad starter also. So replaced starter, found body ground cable from hood to firewall broke and corroded. Replaced. But still no pwr. Checked fuse etc. Under hood.no blown fuses. Tried to find schematics for fuse box under hood but no success. Any tips on where I should start tracing wires etc or what I should check next? Any help greatly appreciated

Replace fob batteries and door lock fuse (50 amp) is good still won’t respond to opening or closing doors with fob

1998 chevy Silverado. Have spark and strong crank. Battery good. Thought it might be security system but realized after going through that process that my security light was not flashing to begin with so I think I can rule that out. Would really appreciate some guidance on what to do from here. Thank you!

I replaced the whole break light and the bulbs too. When I shut the door and then off all the light and lock the door the 3rd break light wont shut off it will stay on till battery dies. I was told to cut yellow wire but that didn't fix it either. What can I do to have a break light and lights when driving but need help them to shut off when I shut off the lights. Where do I locate the problem fuse box under the hood or I was told maybe a fuse or a plug in under the break pedal I have unplugged all of them but it still stays on.

My truck had been sitting for abt a year, due to suspension. New fluids, battery, spark plugs, pullies(2), flywheel, starter...general overhaul. Lol. When i start it it has this extremely loud knock, but it's not like metal hitting, and a squeal from hell!! Could it b timing?

First start of the day charging system well above 14. Mid day start outside air temp above 80°. On start up 14 on Guage after a few minute Guage starts dropping to below 11. Killed engine and restart back to 14 but hard to start. (Lagging). . . This has happened 4 days in a row. Im afraid my battery which is brand new or my starter is gonna go out. Any ideas why ?
