When the brake is in and key is turned the truck will jolt but no further noises or movement. When truck does turn over has trouble shifting into reverse and first gear. Just trying to learn how to get this thing moving.

Most of the f100 vans have a problem in the safety valve in the engines cummins common rail. The problem appears when this valve remains stuck, not allowing the engine to start. I found this out by myself because no one was able to solve my problem in the agency. I am now waiting for the replacement. Hope it helps.
