Serpentine belt: It is made up from a material similar to rubber that allows certain engine parts to come into contact with each other and makes them spin. Some of them are the alternator, the hydraulic power steering, and the water pump.

Turns over once no start

The serpentine belt and that's what started everything. Then found out the tensioner was broken so replaced. Wouldn't start that's when we got a new starter. Now it won't even spin. Just clicks once and doesn't even try. Checked grounds, fuses and Relays. All good. Connections are solid also. Take starter back off and hook jumper wires up and it spins over perfect. Just not in the car. Took out spark plugs and tried to start it
Nothing. Help! I'm about to just burn it to the ground
