It means the temp outside has dropped to 4 degrees it turns red when it drops to zero

After driving while all warning light comes ON while driving, and 20minutes later they go off again

My old radio wouldn’t work and the fuse would blow as soon as inserted, I installed a new radio and all the original wires looked fine, no visible short to ground, but it has to be a shorted out wire causing the fuse to immediately blow when power travels into it. Where could the shorted wire be? Any ideas where I should look? I’m having no luck at the moment and it’s late now so I can’t work on it any more tonight but 7 months without a radio is long enough and I’m ready to have music again. Thanks.

The problem wasn’t a shorted wire it was the new radio causing an overload which kept blowing the fuse. The way the manufacturer wired the new radio causes the fuse to blow, and the fuse stopped blowing when I hooked the old radio back up. The mess of wires they put into hooking up the new radio which was supposed to be plug and play is unbelievably complicated. They have wires split to multiple harnesses which some of their harnesses don’t have anything to hook up to in my car. The solution is to not hook up the new radio and send it back for a refund because there is no way to safely install it in my car and their installation instructions don’t have any actual installation instructions. Poor purchase choice.

I have a mk3 that has an overhead console lighting panel incorporating sunglasses holder and the 2 alarm sensors, the red strip lights were working and then I noticed they now won't come on - any ideas?

Try going into the menu on the dash right hand buttons on wheel and see if they've been turned off by accident
Thank you for your reply - unfortunately I have tried the menus but nothing. I think a bulb must need replacing but can't access it?? I'm taking it to a garage in the hope that they know!
They're Led's not bulbs so try Ford see if its a computer glich that they can reset are the door handles the footwells and the cup holders lite up so you'll know if it's the bulbs or the system
Ah I don't think this model has those nice bits as they haven't ever lit up but the console light did. It was 1st registered on 30/6/11 so it's an early model being a Ti-VCT. I will get a garage to check though.
Ford are a pain as not all the cars have these bits mine has some options you wouldn't expect and misses some things you'd expect. Mine only has one trip meter but others have two.
Yes its very weird how the spec changes although I think mine has the city pack extras, park sensors, folding mirrors that have a light under and 4 electric windows. The manuals often make no sense either - previously had a S reg focus ghia with all extras at the time and sunroof, lovely car but rubbish manual! I'll post a response if I ever get it sorted!
Ps. I often wondered if it could be a fuse but don't know where to find out what number it would be as not listed in the manual!
Think the fuse for these also operates the interior roof lamps and a few other circuits hopefully it's a simple repair. Mine a manual titanium so has reversing sensors but no electric folding mirrors or lights on exterior mirrors no privacy glass in the back and 18 inch alloy wheels
Thank you, maybe not the fuse then as interior roof lights are working. I really hope to get it looked at soon, just had to spend out £250 insurance excess as someone did a hit and run on my car at the end of May! They did over £1100 damage!

That's the anti theft device, that's why your car won't start
I believe that disables the fuel pump, once the car recognizes the key, it enables the fuel pump. Usually tho I believe you can crank, just no fuel gets deposited to engine. Yours sounds like it might have to be diagnosed by an electrical tech to see why there is no power to ignition.

Solved, thank to you tube. There was a harness connector that I had undone for access to something else that I apparently didn't reconnect properly properly. Re-did the connection and every issue resolved itself. Oh Happy Day.

All dashboard lights working. But the starter and the fuel pump aren't picking up at all. I've checked all the fuses and couldn't find any cause.

The issue with your 2003 Ford Focus not starting can be caused by a few different things. Here are some common causes for this issue:

Radio will not turn off ii comes on and off with a loud noise every few seconds. Tried turning it off up down you can not control anything. Disconnect the battery and it stayed off a few weeks but it has come back on by itself. The noise is so loud you can not set in the car.
I am still looking for answers for this problem how was yours solved.

I had two episodes of that, usually only after startup. Throttle body plug was loose, and eventually I replaced throttle body. I have replaced crap Ford garbage throttle bodies, 3 times.

After replacing fuel pump, it ran good for a day then the check engine light comes on and if it turn the car off, it struggles to start back up. I went to AutoZone about the check engine code and the code was something like replace fuel pump, diesel pump only. I’m so lost and frustrated. Help! When I put the old pump back in, the check engine light goes away but car still is acting like it isn’t getting fuel. I replaced fuel filter a few months ago.

Focus no start

Car drove great. Went into shops. Then no start. Tried to jump start from jump pack but no go. Pushed the car and it started. Driving home engine light and alt light on. Changed starter motor but just clicks. Tried jumper leads still no go
