4 lights- vsa-eps-abs-brake lights will come on all at the same time. They will all go out all at once also but you never know when they will come on or off. The car dirves fine with no problems.

Abs & vas light staying on

It feels like my car is Guna loose a tire on my front driver side. It’s gotta be like my struts ,master cylinder, abs or ball joints ?

Sometimes the EPS goes stiff while driving. Not every time i take the car out just every now and then. Switching the adjuster switch doesnt change the hard/soft like it used to. Also every now and then the ABS and VSA lights come on and stay on. These things dont happen at the same time.

For a week the lights on the dashboard showed that there was a problem with the abs brakes & traction device flashing and so we took it in to honda to have them find out why. The first time it was a sunday afternoon (may 31th) and the fellow said it was a computer glitz and he reset the computer. I was driving my 2009 accord on my snow covered street and the vehicle stability (vsa) light flashed on, as it should, when the vehicle loses traction. However, the light stayed on and the abs and brake lights both appeared as well and all 3 stayed lit. At first, i thought they would reset, but after a few days, they did not. The vsa and anti-lock brake functions were no longer working. During low speed driving (approximately 30-40 mph) and squeaking noise was emitting from the right rear tire. Prior to this, the power steering warning light, anti lock brake warning light, anti skid warning light, all illuminated. While driving to chicago (2 hours away) with my wife and 11 year old my maintenance minder light came on to tell me it was time to get an oil change. Since it was a sunday i couldn't take it in. The brake has failed four times starting at about 22 month old. When the brake pedal was pressed down, the wheels kept running. First time, i was exiting from highway. The road was slightly slippery. The brake worked fine initially but stopped working in the middle of the curve. The car zigzagged for three times before reaching the straight road. Two false tpms low pressure warnings, second occurrence 7/19/2013. Tire pressure during both occurrences was correct when subsequently measured with tires 'cold' after warning. Tpms was recalibrated after both false warnings. Tpms is an indirect system, computed through abs system. Checked with american honda for a firmware update, none pending. *tr

During braking, as you are getting close to stopping the car, i feel little jerk before the car completely stops. This jerk is like couple of times and can be repeated. This probably due to improper abs system. If you move to neutral and then brake, this issue is non-existent. I suspect some electronic aspect with mechanical brakes creating this jerk. *tr

Abs lights on purchase after 5 months. I purchase my car on 12/30/11. On 30/5/12 i saw the lights on, i dropped my car for 1 day at boardwalk honda service. Next day, when i went to take my car the manager told me that rodents had eaten the wiring. The place where i park my car, there were three other cars also parked everyday. They never have such kind of problem. I think because of their car is old and my car is new so rodents like to eat new wires not a old wires. The manger told me that you have to pay for this and it will be more than $1000. I am completely disagree, why should i pay. Still its passed 5 months. My honda accord 2009 is only 33, 216 miles, less than 2 years old but the abs has problem, i have to replace wheel speed sensor, honda does not cover because the warranty is over. I have never had abs problem with my 2002 accord that has mileage is over 100,000. I would like to report this issue as abs malfunction. *tr

I had brand new car bought in march 2009 , later in april 2010 i had accident and airbags didn't blow out and i hit my head, sent it to dealer by insurance company and figured that sensor was defected and they exchanged , later on they flights for abs and vsc come on intermittently , sent it to dealer , they figured sensors are defected and will exchange , my concern is how come car with defected parts released to market , and honda company didn't do any thing for me , the car cost over $ 20,000. 00 it's better to buy a $ 2000. 00 car. *tr

the consumer stated he encountered a vehicle attempting to cross two lanes of traffic abruptly and without warning. He narrowly avoided a collision, but in the process his vehicle went in a right hand skid with the tires screeching. On sept 22, 2008, we purchased a new 2009 honda accord v6 and started experiencing brake problems within the first week of ownership. The car has been serviced by honda 12-15 times.
