Took my car to the dealer for an oil change and a new battery. I was told the battery did not fix my problem that it was my starter. This car is not even 3 years old. After looking on line this is clearly an issue with alot of Accords. Honda should be held responsible!!!!!!

This is the fourth time that i have brought my vehicle to the dealer to be inspected. I finally got my car inspected a third time after contacting honda corporate. The steering wheel had to be reset. Within 2 weeks of purchasing a new honda i experienced a 2 to 3 second hesitation problem when trying to accelerate from low speeds. The first time it happened i was on a green light turning left, so i had to yield to oncoming traffic. Purchased vehicle 5/8/2014. Driving home and i called my husband and stated that the car sounded like crap--wasnt shifting correctly and just had a horrible sound coming from engine. He stated we will check oil and transmission fluid when you get home. To find no oil or transmission on either. I purchased a new 2013 honda accord sport (cvt) in 2013. As of october 6, 2015, the car is about 2 years old and has approximately 37,447 miles. Would love some help. So firstly my car is getting a loud internal noise when I'm driving it almost sounds like a jet engine about to take off. Now the vibration occurs between 70-80km/hr so thinking I may need to replace drive shafts as this is a common problem but the loud internal noise is bugging me most. I've thought of wheel bearings and wear of the tyres. I have a sports tyre on and do a lot of distance travel. They are only 12 months old still plenty of tread. Just had an alignment two months ago. Has anyone experienced this internal noise and would it be related to drive shaft?????

Window tab failure. While in motion on surface streets driver�s side automatic window would not roll up or down. Driver lightly pushed on window to try to jostle the window loose. Window then collapsed into door well. Window was subsequently stuck in the door well. Driver was expectantly exposed to elements and unable to manipulate window up or down. Vehicle is 3 years old with 59,044 miles. Honda automotive shop identified that the window came unglued from the tags holding it in place. Honda shop identified that they have never seen this on a car this new, may be common for a 20-30 year old car but not for a honda this new.

My car surges while driving occasionally and surges while stopped. I was sitting at a stop sign waiting on traffic to pass by and my car surged so hard that it pushed it out a couple inches. Since delivery date of vehicle from dealer my vehicles navigation and stereo have not worked. While traveling southbound on rt. 95 in delaware, the sunroof spontaneously shattered on my three month old 2015 honda accord. The sound was similar to a loud gun shot, followed by a crackling noise. I have a honda accord 2013 (just 2 years old) with 59209 miles on it. Car sometimes clicks and will not start. Sometime it will start after about 5 to 10 tries, or waiting for a while. The headrests cause nevk pain. The headrests push your head forward in an unnatural way almost pushing your chin into your chest. I started having neckpain shortly after purchasing. So intense it went down my arm and caused numbess in my fingers. Spent serval days goung to doctors and mris injections etc. This summer my 13 tear old started complaining. We noticed when switching to my summer 35z the pain got better and returned when driving the honda. The seats are also part of the issue i noticed after 15 minutes of driving hard to get comfortable. When driving the 2013 honda accord this morning at 60 mph for several miles, the power steering problem light lit on the dash and immediately lost all power to turn the steering. In 2012 (25kmi - two year old vehicle) required brake pad replacement. 2015 (55k mi required replacement of rear brake pads, rotors. It was taken in for excessive heat and non-stop squeaking. Two months later, again, excessive heat (too hot to touch rim). Took back to repair shop and they had to replace calipers.

I bought this 2012 honda accord in late september 2014. In october, just a few short weeks later, my ac stopped cooling. I took it to a local mechanic and found there was a hole in the ac dryer. How exactly does a 2 year old car already have ac issues? after doing some research, apparently this is a design flaw because rocks can fly up in it and cause the hole. Honda will not cover the $800+ expense. Completely unacceptable. I owned a nissan for over 5 years and never once had an issue or repair that was more than $200. Extremely disappointed in honda and will not purchase another.

05/25/14 while backing the vehicle out of my drive way i noticed the a thumping sound and a jerking from the vehicle which caused great alarm from me. I turned my vehicle on and had no power steering. The power steering light was on, indicating that there was a problem. I was able to drive it to the dealer where they told me the power steering torque had gone bad. To repair the vehicle, i would need to have the power steering rack replaced - over $2k! although my vehicle is less than 2 years old, i have passed the 35k mile warranty. This is a pretty painful bill to be forced to pay with such a new car!! why is this not recalled if so many are having issues with this?!!

I went to pull my visor down and i heard a loud crack noise from the visor. The visor will not stay up anymore, just hangs about 2-3" from the ceiling of the car. Went to the dealer and they told me it's not covered under warranty even if it's only a year old. *tr

Traveled from baton rouge to dallas with a cold air condition and on the way back home from dallas. Once i got to opelousas no cold air, only heat blowing from the ac. Richards honda dealership in baton rouge claims that a rock struck my condenser, caused the leak and the road debris is not covered under warranty. My car will be a year old from a new purchase next month, i travel in my car everyday to work and never had a problem with my car in nearly 30k miles, until now. Dealer cost $530. This is not a safety complaint but more of a defect. I have a 2011 honda accord and it had less than 50,000 miles when i noticed the issue. I have leather interior and the arm rest on the driver's door bubbles in extreme heat. Once it cools off, it lays back down some, but never flat as it should be. The brake has failed four times starting at about 22 month old. When the brake pedal was pressed down, the wheels kept running. First time, i was exiting from highway. The road was slightly slippery. There is a knocking noise coming from the steering wheel. Took it into the dealership and the service manager says the steering column needs to be replaced. He further commented that there is a service bulletin on the defect but honda has not issued a recall. This is a safety issue due to the fact it can over time affect the steering of the vehicle. There are many complaints online about this issue and obviously honda knows there is a problem. There is no reason for a car less than 4 years old to need the steering column replaced. *ln

I couldn't figure out which section to post my complaint. It's not a safety issue per se. I am complaining about the new design of the headrests. I cannot get comfortable in any of the new cars i have sat in, because i like to sit very upright, and when i position myself this way, my neck goes forward too much. During the first week of driving my new honda accord sport, i find myself constantly trying to adjust the seats to a comfortable position. I brought the car used certified with 6,800 miles. After a week of driving, the car feels like it has a mind of it own,i don't have full control of the car.
