New battery no codes no power horn stoped working and the key has to unlock the shifter inorder to put into drive only happened 3 times I'm thinking fuse

Honda told me the car will not start because of handicap placard hanging on rear view mirror

Try to start it and there is nothing...no lights...no sound...nothing... why would battery be dead in nice weather from no use... when I put charger on it, will not receive charge.

I’m having problem with my 2008 Honda Accord 2.4 coupe. The car has been sitting for a month after changing bad injectors and fuel pump. I tried to start the car and it wouldn’t start. I got a code for P060A and P1659 with a flashing green immobilizer light after several failed start attempts. I’m going to change the battery but need help as to why it won’t start and it’s giving me those codes.

Took my car to the dealer for an oil change and a new battery. I was told the battery did not fix my problem that it was my starter. This car is not even 3 years old. After looking on line this is clearly an issue with alot of Accords. Honda should be held responsible!!!!!!
I will never buy another honda!! they do not make them like they used to.

Driving the other day and a couple of times when I was braking the battery light came on. Checked the belts on Alt. Batt. Cbl. Etc. Everything is fine doesn't happen again then I go to store car started fine. Go to stay and it clicks and dash lights all blink. So I get a jump it takes a bit but when I try to stay out I notice the security light blinks twice after I've turned ign. To off pos. While I'm driving home all lights are surging when I use the pwr. Wind. Butt. I can hear it bog as it dims. BTW it's a brand new Alt. I turn it off when I get home and try to restart it does the same clicking.

Went to get to get in the car found the sunroof open. No other window open. I know if the key is pushed twice all widows open. The key fob does not work and just sun glass open. Now I have a battery drain while car sets.

Recently the car began to hesitate starting when I pushed the button. Like the battery was starting to get weak. Then it would not start at all. Dash lights would flash twice then everything goes out. Dealer replaced a module on the battery + wire connection and paperwork said it had a service bulletin on it. Two days later it did it again and dealer said new part drained the battery. They replaced the battery. We shall see what happens but I am losing confidence.

Hi, I hope someone can give me a hand with my Honda Accord 98, which is having starting problems. It can only be turned on when some current is provided, but as I turn it off it won't start again, and the engine is not even a bit heard. I've bought some new battery but nothing happens when I try to start the vehicle.

Ok, to summarize i am on my 3rd battery and i can't remember how many jump starts in 1. 5 years. Since i have owned this 09 i have never been able to keep my keys in the ignition in order to listen to music while the car isn't running. It doesn't matter if it is less than a minute the battery will totally drain and require a jump or replacement. I have gotten every battery tested and i have been told that the batteries are in good working order. But for some reason if i try to use the battery, the battery dies either requiring a jump start or like my last two incidents a brand new battery. There must be something wrong with electrical system because this surely should not be happening.

It so far has happened to me twice that i need to jump-start the car. There probably has some electrical leakage issues or something related to it. The first time it was more than a year ago that when i came earlier to a doctor appointment waiting for the clinic to open, i turned off the car and left the cd player on. I purchased a new 2013 honda accord sport (cvt) in 2013. As of october 6, 2015, the car is about 2 years old and has approximately 37,447 miles. The vehicle started having intermittent starting problems. The engine does not crank and all i hear are clicks. It takes 3-5 ignition attempts for the vehicle to start. When i start up the car it wouldn't start. The light, acc, radio everything turns on but the engine wont start. I try several times but it will not start, i got out the car lock it, them i decide to try again and them it started. I bought the car in may 2013 this is the 3rd time it happen same exact way. 98 accord 2.3 manual trans, car running fine no issues went out check fluid level ( no issues) went to start car just barely made any effort to even light up the dash soon as I tried to crank it barely clicked and whole car went dead. So after work I tried to start my car and it would turn over but not start. I tried multiple times with no luck. My brother in law ended up coming to help me. I told him it could be low on oil. So he added a little oil and it almost started. So he added a little more oil and it started right up. So I drove it home. My Dad checked the oil after I got home and he said it is overfilled with oil. Which doesn't make sense because it sounds good and is running good. Would this be a good indication that the sensor that checks the oil level is bad? Any suggestions are appreciated. I had recently replaced the radiator. Changed the oil, filter, air filter, atf and the battery is great.

My dad was sitting in my car while I ran into the store. He was there for no more than 5 minutes. He said my radio started acting strange and stuttering(?) My car was off but the key was in the accessory position. When i got into the car and turned the key the it clicked like the battery was drained and it wouldn't start. My car has actually shut the whole electrical off for few seconds while driving. The battery keeps going dead constantly telling me my brakes are bad or says my power steering is bad. But brakes are fine and so is steering power steering

I changed the starter, battery on my 2014 accord lx hoping it will fix the problem. Unfortunately that didn't fix problem. I guess my next step will be to change the starter relays and fuses hoping it will fix this problem. Has any one figure this problem out?

Vehicle only starts on the 3rd try. During the first 2 tries, the vehicle pretty much starts fine but dies the exact millisecond it actually starts. The vehicle also has brief moments of lag while on the road. A feeling that the engine is inconsistent (it basically hiccups) maybe 1-3 times per drive. Usually very briefly and very inconsistently so. Things to note: 1. Sometimes the car randomly starts on the first try. It seems to happen more when the fuel tank has more gas in it. I can turn the key and it beeps, the lights on the dashboard come on, my stereo turns on and the clock turns on. There is no clicking or engine isn't turning over. What could be the problem? And would you still recommend jumping it if it doesn't appear to be the battery?

Over the last several days the car would not start without requiring a jump for the battery. Then it would run, Had the battery tested and brought the car to dealership and they state nothing is wrong with the vehicle. (it started there no problem). Over last 6 months Total failure of electrics while driving. Last a second or two then restarts. Seems to be becoming more often. Not related to speed, bumps and battery is new and terminals are tight. Today VSA light now illuminated.
