Radio started glitching then car wouldnt start

Honda Accord 2011 EX-L V6 Coupe 108000 miles
My dad was sitting in my car while I ran into the store. He was there for no more than 5 minutes. He said my radio started acting strange and stuttering(?) My car was off but the key was in the accessory position. When i got into the car and turned the key the it clicked like the battery was drained and it wouldn't start. (No battery light) I can't imagine the battery was drained that quickly. I just replaced the alternator (3 times because of a leaking "pcv" gasket I think its called. It was leaking oil onto the alternator. I replaced the gaskets and its sealed up good with no leaks at all) A… Read complete

Issues Accord 2013 EX-L 4dr 2.4L CVT

Honda Accord 2013 EX-L Sedan 2.4L CVT
While turning right to park in a residential townhouse parking space, the car accelerated suddenly and hit a tree which was very close but at the top of a slanting hill. It felt like the car was slipping on ice but there was no ice. A person outside of the car heard a strange noise. It felt like there was no ability to control the car. I tried to back up, i felt the same slipping so i stopped and left the car. The same person heard the noise again when i was backing up. I am an experienced driver with a clean driving record for over 20 years and have never experienced this. It was sunday after… Read complete

2013 Honda Accord problems

Honda Accord 2013 LX Sedan 2.4L CVT
I bought this honda accord lx 2013 in aug 2012. About a few months later, i notice the car engine oil level keep decreasing. Then i see there are oil leak marks at the overhead cover where it is tightened to the engine block. In august 2013, i brought my car to nearby honda dealer. They kept my car for two days and said they replaced the gasket. But after one month, i still see oil leaking out at the same spot. Today, dec 16, 2013, i bring my accord back to the dealer. They told me i had to leave my car there until tomorrow (dec 17) while they are ordering another new gasket. I am extremely disappointed a persistent oil leak has happened with a brand new honda accord 2013 !!! i research on line and see this issue also happens with some other 2013 honda accord owners. *tr

2013 Accord 3.5L problem

Honda Accord 2013 EX-L V-6 Sedan 3.5L 6A
Hi. I've notice oil leak on my brand new 2013 accord v6 this morning. I already made an appointment with the dealer, but i'm disappointed to see brand new car (especially honda) with this type of problem. After researching this online, looks like more people are having similar issue. I hope this is nothing major and they don't have to replace an engine block like mentioned below. Http://www. Problem Accord EX 4dr 2.4L

Honda Accord 2009 EX Sedan 2.4L 5A 3000 miles
Driving on highway at 55 mpg noticed vibration coming from engine. Felt like engine mounts had failed. When i pulled into our home driveway it felt like i was driving a diesel powered car. I noticed oil light glowing. Checked oil level, nothing showed on dip stick. Under 3000 miles since last oil check. Took to dealer and complained. Checked for oil leaks-none. Flashed engine management with upgrade said service bulletin from honda should fix issue. Kept checking oil levels at each gas fill up. Noticed a quart of oil used around every thousand miles of mixed driving. By 50,000 that had dropped… Read complete

Problem Accord 2009 EX-L V-6 4dr 5A 6cyl

Honda Accord 2009 EX-L V-6 Sedan 3.5L 5A 1000 miles
Sitting at red light waiting for turn signal, car begins to rough idle. Upon turn and acceleration, car spits, sputters, jerks, jolts and would not accel properly. Engine light begins blinking. Motor runs/idles very rough. Next morning on drive in to local dealership, vsa light illuminates and stays illuminated. Car still idles and runs very rough, spitting and sputtering etc. Dealership inspects car. Dealership determines the mount of oil in the car is too low. No evidence of oil leaks. Dealership consults with honda. Oil consumption test is now recommended. I am to return the car to the hond… Read complete

2010 Honda Accord fix

Honda Accord 2010 EX-L Sedan 2.4L 5A 4200 miles
Excessive oil consumption; car makes clattering engine noise (oil starvation) at around 4200 miles between oil changes; been on oil consumption test at dealer and told i am still within specs of burning 1 quart oil per 1000 miles being normal; have never owned a vehicle that loses oil between changes; dealer recommended i pull over on side of road when i hear clattering noise to top off oil; been getting oil changes every two months because of clattering noise being heard in engine; was given a software update to fix this in late august but it has only gotten worse-- went from burning 1/4 quart per 1000 to 1/3 quart per 1000. *kb

Problems 2011 Accord

Honda Accord 2011  4000 miles
I purchase a honda accord 2011 on 2/18/2011. I always get an oil change very 3000 to 4000 miles. The second time i took it in for oil change the tech told me there is a leak in the main rear seal area and that they need the for about two days. I didn't mind it due to that fact it was not the major repair like touch the engine, but soon after i receive a call telling me that they need to change the short block of the engine that's when i got concern. It a brand new car with a new engine and they already to place the short block engine ! i was upset. I only have the car only for about 3 mo… Read complete
