Fix 2013 Honda Accord EX-L

Honda Accord 2013 EX-L Coupe 2.4L CVT
So this has now happened 3 times in the last few months, once about a month ago and twice last week (after having the car dropped off to fix the brake tsb that causes a squeak on turns). I will be driving down the road from aggressive to normal driving and all of a sudden i look at my dash only to see all the warning lights on. Once this happens you can see the mpg indicator has a delay, a change in behavior of the cars controls, ldw switch no longer functions, and ldw and fcw stop working. The car continues to drive but you can tell all electronics are experiencing a delay or issue with the e… Read complete

2014 Accord EX-L problems

Honda Accord 2014 EX-L Sedan 2.4L CVT
The car is not getting the advertised gas mileage. I am only getting 21 to 22 mpg which stink. The car backs up when in park also. Please look into this please. The bottom under the car is not finished off. One other thing is that the backup camera is not very clear and you cannot see properly and have to get out of your car to check all the time. The back end is up too high. *tr

2013 Accord problem

Honda Accord 2013
At slow speeds the honda would stall. Also happened when initially shifting from park to drive. Rpms would just cut out. Happened 5-6 times. Stalled out while moving through intersection. Called tow company and had them tow to dealer. Dealer replaced computer sensors. I'm not really sure what it was. Vehicle has not had problem since however gas mileage is down significantly since fix. Not happy with mileage. Was getting 35 mpgs on my commute. Now getting 31 mpgs. Over 10% reduction. *tr

Problem Accord EX 4dr 2.4L

Honda Accord 2009 EX Sedan 2.4L 5A 3000 miles
Driving on highway at 55 mpg noticed vibration coming from engine. Felt like engine mounts had failed. When i pulled into our home driveway it felt like i was driving a diesel powered car. I noticed oil light glowing. Checked oil level, nothing showed on dip stick. Under 3000 miles since last oil check. Took to dealer and complained. Checked for oil leaks-none. Flashed engine management with upgrade said service bulletin from honda should fix issue. Kept checking oil levels at each gas fill up. Noticed a quart of oil used around every thousand miles of mixed driving. By 50,000 that had dropped… Read complete

Problems 2010 Accord

Honda Accord 2010
I have owned this car for a little over a year. The front seats are so uncomfortable they makes me tense know i have to get back in it. After riding for a short distances my neck and back hurt. How could a company make a new car and put such horrible seats in them. The back seat ride better than the front seat. Now if i could only drive sitting in the back seat. The car might run well and get decent gas mileage but i would never purchase another honda. If they used real people riding in these seats they would have corrected this problem before placing them in their cars. Honda please correct this problem. *tt

Problems 2010 Honda Accord

Honda Accord 2010
I did not have an accident but when i went to purchase 4-cylinder 2010 honda accord i notice that steering system was completely unacceptable and unsafe. I used to be a steering engineer hence know the system expectations. I did not buy the vehicle. Steering does not return to center. I drove my friends car and it has the same issue. Someone can get really hurt. This is typically a safety to fuel economy tradeoff engineering choice. I do not work in auto industry anymore but wanted government to investigate this issue. *tr

Problems 2009 Accord

Honda Accord 2009  6000 miles
I have a 2009 honda accord exl w/navi 4 cylinder. It currently has 6000 miles and i bought it in september 2008. I have taken it to the dealer 3-4 times about the brakes squealing. It occurs every time i apply the brakes, no matter the speed or use. They first told me it was too new and they had to break in. Then that it was because they were cold due to the winter weather and i needed to drive 55-60 mpg and slam on the breaks to warm up. Then it was due to new brake pads not being made like they used to be when they used asbestos in pads. Then it was because all the rain had caused a build up… Read complete
