Problems 2015 Honda Accord 4cyl

Honda Accord 2015 EX-L Sedan 2.4L CVT
Initial use of the automatic air conditioning system puts the passenger cabin into "air recirculation" mode in order to bring the temperature down as quickly as possible. Unfortunately it will not turn air recirculation off until the interior air temperature has reached the temperature asked for. This can take a long time. We have been told for years that it isn't safe to leave recirculation on for too long due to the possibility of dangerous exhaust gases entering the cabin. Recirculation can be turned off by pushing a button but having fresh air sooner seems safer to me.

2009 Accord 3.5L EX-L fix

Honda Accord 2009 EX-L V-6 Sedan 3.5L 5A
I have had my honda accord 2009 v6 serviced for constant spark plug fouling and oil consumption. After a total of 10 visits, and over 40 days without my car over the course of 3 years, i had received a total of 3 spark plug sets, two oil consumption tests, lost two catalytic converters, and o2 sensors. Even with this constant spark plug replacement, it did not alleviate any issues. I kept breaking down on the side of the road with a rumbling, misfiring engine. After numerous trips to honda, they refused to acknowledge the problem. After speaking to a district rep and being referred to paragon… Read complete

Issues Accord 2014 EX-L 6cyl

Honda Accord 2014 EX-L V-6 Sedan 3.5L 6A
Rodent damage to gas line, emission system, gas tank, and numerous other parts in an actively driven car (not stored). Leading to major gas leak (half a tank of gas in a duration of a standstill at red light) that placed drivers, passengers, pedestrians, and bystanders' life at risk. Would've lead to catastrophic ending if exhaust was hot. Gas spilled over stretch of 2 blocks, majority concentrating at intersection between heath and main st. Buffalo ny, which required the fire department to clean up. 911 was contacted for patches of flammable gasoline, which could have been ignited for numerou… Read complete

2010 Accord EX-L problems

Honda Accord 2010 EX-L V-6 Sedan 3.5L 5A
While attempting to pass a semi-truck on a two lane highway, my 2010 honda accord v6 lost power a few minutes after acceleration. The truck driver probably felt that i was being rude and slamming on my breaks, but i was trying to move to the shoulder of the road because my car was losing power. The car was towed to an independent shop that specializes in honda makes/models. Upon review of the vehicle, the shop found oil in all three catalytic converters. My 2010 honda accord is part of the class action lawsuit for misfire and oil consumption (leakage). I called honda america and notified the c… Read complete

Problems Accord 2010 EX 6cyl

Honda Accord 2010 EX V-6 Sedan 3.5L 5A 4500 miles
Purchased a 2010 honda in january 2010. We experienced excessive oil usage and yellow warning light on intermittently. We requested an oil change at 4,500 miles and were told not to change the first oil until the oil life showed 15%. While traveling, at approximately 7,500 miles, the vehicle oil life indicator showed about 40% use although the vehicle had no oil showing on the dipstick. The exhaust pipes were blackened. Oil was added and we were told there could be engine damage. We returned to the honda dealer who we purchased the vehicle from who advised us if the oil usage was less than a quart every 1,000 miles oil use was not excessive. We were told the car was fine and the tail pipes were not a problem. We continue to have to add oil between oil changes. *tr
