Pulling and Chewing my Tires SolvedSolved

Honda Accord 2015  77638 miles
Why are my tires getting chewed up?
Looks like based on all these posting am seeing the trend. Accords not driving straight despite the alignments. Going to have to buy another set of tires for my 2015 Sport. Multiple alignments, front cambers replaced. Took it in for another alignment because of same noise and pulling and sure enough they are damaged too...the rear tires now are being chewed up which means another set of tires... the reason I invested in an Accord was its reputation of being a solid vehicle...I guess, I was wrong. Well, guess what product line I won’t be purchasing next?

Update: I had to buy 2 more New Tires (6-12-2021) for the rear side for the same reason despite alignments...Thank you Honda. !!!

I asked a gentleman at costco last weekend who has the same model I do only a white color and he too said the very same problem with his Accord- Sport. I wonder how many more victims are out there.

I have a 2013 Accord Sport and do not have the alignment problem. I replaced oem tires at 40,000 miles, with wear being even. After retirement, drove car about 3,000 miles per year, and replaced that set after rubber had severe dry rot from age, with pretty even wear. Had an alignment done after those new tires, with read out showing red on all four corners. So, how do you get even tire wear with alignment off that much? If tires start wearing uneven, I will pay the Honda dealership that did the alignment a visit. Too bad Honda designed Accord suspension with most components not adjustable.

We need to call on Honda to recall or pay for the damaged tire now...

I did exactly that in South Africa, spoke to just about every absolutely useless executive in their customer and client relationship division and all they said - "not our problem"

Honda - guess which brand i did not buy again...

2014 Accord 6cyl EX-L V-6 4dr fix

Honda Accord 2014 EX-L V-6 Sedan 3.5L 6A
I purchased this car new. And after a few weeks, i realized that the steering was pulling the car to the left, especially on the highway where it would take left curves in the road unassisted by me. I brought it back to the dealer 4 times, they gave it a few alignments, and since the problem still exists, they deny that there is any problem at all. The car is definitely a lemon, and i am wondering if other 2014 honda accord owners are experiencing a similar problem with the steering. This is a dangerous condition as i must be constantly vigilant or the car will go off the road to the left. I am trying to get some justice through the ny lemon law because honda ha taken my money and delivered to me a defective, dangerous car. *tr

I purchased a 2015 sport new at the time and it happen to me on the front and ruined my front tires. Honda service had me replace the front cambers and I purchased 4 new tires and now it’s the rear tires in less than 2 years. What the heck.

Check your tires for bumps or flat spots, this can cause pulling.

My 2014 Accord has been misaligned since I bought it new with only a few miles. The first time I took it to a Honda dealer for service, the service guy told me, they couldn't do anything about it and that Honda was aware and was working on a fix. When I moved to another state and went to other Honda dealers to follow up, they said Honda never informed them of any issues. I've had to change my tires twice in 5 years and get several alignments. I will not buy another Honda.

My brother has exact same issue with 2013 Accord. He found that on certain models, such as Accord, they began using a substitute part on the front end which causes this issue. Apparently, dealers are all too happy to continue charging for alignments and, despite a plethora of complaints to Honda, they have yet to issue a recall. Why? It is obviously because not enough people have been killed and they would take a major financial hit paying dealers to perform the corrective recall action.

Problem 2014 Accord LX 4dr

Honda Accord 2014 LX Sedan 2.4L CVT 7000 miles
This is the fourth time that i have brought my vehicle to the dealer to be inspected. I finally got my car inspected a third time after contacting honda corporate. The steering wheel had to be reset. However, the vehicle still does not drive straight. After an alignment and the steering wheel reset, the vehicle still pulls to the right. I have contacted honda corporate and they are really useless. Their motto "helpful honda" is the biggest load hot air ever. They are having someone from honda corporate come to inspect the car now. But they refuse to work with me to take the car back, even thou… Read complete

Try looking at the tires make sure they do not have bumps or flat spots because this can cause the car to pull.

I was getting service done on my 2007 honda civic recall http://www. Consumerreports. Org/cro/news/2014/03/free-engine-replacement-for-2006-2009-honda-civics/index.htm. However, on jan 6th 2015, we had snow in our area and the temperature outside was below freezing. I had the vehicle in my garage and when i left for work on jan 7th, i had backed out the car from the garage and when i turned on to our street, i had noticed… Read complete

Noise and vibration

Honda Accord 2006 Euro 174000 miles
Would love some help. So firstly my car is getting a loud internal noise when I'm driving it almost sounds like a jet engine about to take off. Now the vibration occurs between 70-80km/hr so thinking I may need to replace drive shafts as this is a common problem but the loud internal noise is bugging me most. I've thought of wheel bearings and wear of the tyres. I have a sports tyre on and do a lot of distance travel. They are only 12 months old still plenty of tread. Just had an alignment two months ago. Has anyone experienced this internal noise and would it be related to drive shaft?????

Fix 2012 Honda Accord LX

Honda Accord 2012 LX Sedan 2.4L 5A
Honda is sending out its cars with the rear wheel camber set to negative 1 to 2 degrees. This causes the tires to wear out on the inside edge and the rear tires do no make proper contact with the road. The front camber is usually set to zero (ie straight up and down for the tires). The smaller contact patch not only wears out the tire edges but makes a safety hazard as the tires wear down and the contact patch decreases. Rotating the tires only makes the problem worse. I requested a wheel alignment at zero miles and again at 6k with the request that the rear tires be set to zero camber. At 30k… Read complete

2013 Honda Accord problems

Honda Accord 2013 Touring V-6 Sedan 3.5L 6A
While driving at approx. 25 mph, suddenly the power steering completely failed and power steering warning light came on. As i was only a couple of blocks from home, i was able to hard steer it home. Spouse turned engine off, started it back up and power steering reset. Took it to the dealer. Did diagnostic and determined :
diagnose eps system per isis. Found faulty torque sensor. Replace complete power steering rack and perform alignment. After reading other similar complaints, i am hopeful that this will not happen again. It is extremely dangerous when this happens.

2014 Accord 4cyl EX-L 4dr problems

Honda Accord 2014 EX-L Sedan 2.4L CVT 1160 miles
Car is pulling to the left at moderate to high speeds and it's driving me crazy because i travel 90% highway and it's not a safe situation. The car is a 2014 accord ex-l 4 with only 1160 miles. I'm beginning to suspect the goodyear tires that came with it as i drove the v6 version which comes with michelins and i didn't experience any pulling. I also drove another new ex-l 4 cyl with goodyear tires and it pulled just like mine does. It's not pulling because of the crown in the road. I've been driving cars for 20 years and never experienced anything like this. Been to shop under warranty three times. 1) adjusted tire pressure
2) full alignment
3) fresh set of goodyear fuel max tires. I don't think these are good tires but they are oem. *js

Issues Accord EX-L 4cyl

Honda Accord 2011 EX-L Sedan 2.4L 5A
Front driver seat lumbar painful to sit in for any amount of time (now that my back is in spasm created by the seat) due to the misalignment and over inflated lumbar support bag, even when completley deflated. This is causing siatica and lower limb numbness and tingling related to spinal nerve compression. Driving in a constant distracted manner due to severe pain and numbness increases the possibility of an accident due to distraction. I was distracted :last night trying to readjust the seat for the 50,000th time to decrease the pain, and i almost hit a jaywalker!
so, i have seen so many of these complaints about these seats. Why don"t you do anything to help us? *tt
