It started vibratin on take off, then a day after it just instantly failed to engage any gears

The vihecle is not picking the first gear but if tyou push it will go it is sshowing oil check light and stated to loose power to take off

Its was blinking D then we tried to exchange solenoid, but now it's not moving forward and reverse

When the gear box is hot the car doesn't pick the gear but when cool the gears change smoothly

1 have bought an imported engine and gear box from Japan. The gearbox drove for only two days and it was no longer engaging on higher gears. I bought another recently imported gear box but it now have the same problem after 4 days

I have an automatic Honda Fit 1.3 and some weeks ago some jerks started appearing when driving the car at high speeds. The engine and gearbox oils are almost new, less than 300 miles. Why does this happen?

I'm in new Zealand and recently bought a Japanese import fit.
Stupid move. Yes it's fuel efficient but the transmission is a tad temperamental to put it politely
I didn't know this was a common fit issue before I bought the car
I asked the dealer if it had a transmission service prior to my purchasing it. They said yes. I then asked why the transmission fluid was a nice brown colour when freshly serviced transmission fluid should be red?
I also asked why the car made a horrible burning smell on long journeys. They said that was just the hot engine smell being wafted through the open window by the air outside.
I laughed at that.
So can someone please tell me what colour serviced transmission oil is supposed to be and why I have a burning smell on long distances?

We towed our Honda fit after it over heated and we bought a head cylinder and head gasket and fitting everything , if we put the vehicle into drive it switch's off but if you put it in reverse there is no problem

The car jus happened to fail taking off after a short stop on a steepy road... I added new CVT but the car is quite weaker and when engaging Drive Gear (D) it switches of but when engaging Reverse (R) it moves back... and it has increased its idleling sound. Please help

Hi. I've got a problem with my honda fit 2006. It never wanted to pull from gear one it will only accelerat nicely above 50. I thought it was a gearbox and thn we replaced the gearbox now its only starting and making huge sound and switches off its self. What could be the problem maybe?

My honda fit ge6 2008 two wheel drive does not shift all gears. At 3000rpm it travels at 90km/h. What could be the probable cause? There is no warnings coming out.

My car is jerking every time I accelerate, sometimes even going at 30 km/h. I went to a mechanic and he said it's the CVT; that it cannot be fixed on the island and that all to be done is change the transmission oil with the original manufacturers oil. That it wont fix the problem but it will make it not get worse and the jerking might go completely or just be felt less.

My Honda fit old can't pick any gear, the gear liver is hard to move move from parking to other gears, and the deshboad just shows( P) even when the gear liver on drive...and I could not move... What could be the reason, CVT oil is still available.

When accelerating from 30 to 40 km, there is vibration and / or shocks. With what it can be connected? maybe the problem is not in the variator? maybe it's time for an oil change? or something different?

Did it harm the gearbox? The car is still changing gears but on taking off it loses power slightly

Its not shifting the gear lever from park without using a shift lock, no brake lights, no harzards, the rev- count is misfiring.

Honda Fit 1.3 when taken for a ride about 30 km and just when the CVT has gained temperature if brakes are actuated it fails to gain power again of Accelaration
