Traveling at 30 mph plus off throttle a moaning type noise starts and stops when throttle is applied,not sure if its from engine or transmission. Any ideas.

When I start my kia Sorrento after it been sitting for a while it makes a loud type noise then it smooths out what can that be?

Driving in 2wd is absolutely fine but when have it in 4wd it making a clicking sound when accelerating.

Yesterday I was in a storm and the water was high in some spots. Everything was ok for about 2hrs. Then out of nowhere it jyst started to grind like the floor was about to open up. Any suggestions on what this might be?

I've recently changed the bearings and, after some days, a "tac tac" noise started to be heard, coming from under the dashboard, near the ignition key. It then turned off but appeared back again.

While taking off from stop light engine started knocking. Pulled over ,no engine light on, oil ok, tried to drive home slowly as it didn’t knock going slow. Then engine quit. Towed to Kia dealer. They said it could be cause from sludge due to missing 10 oil changes. I said no they did first and last change and I have proof of oil changes and correct weight oil. A Kia mechanic at a different dealer told us there was a service recall on them. Called Kia they said it wasn’t for that engine. Waiting to see what dealer finds and if they fix it.

Went to crank it up and wont start. All the lights and radio work there is a rapid clicking sound when the key is turned. Could this be the starter or is there a starter solenoid,the battery is 4yrs old.

The radio screen works you can change stations and shows the jukebox. Absolutely no sound. Checked all fuses. Even tried the suggestions on taking the battery leads and utting them together. Nothing.

My abs/ check engine and break lights all came on then went off the came back on the other day and then very suddenly I got a very bad grinding sound coming from my left front tire any time I move my steering wheel! Any ideas?

Clunking noise when shifting from park to reverse.

When I press the accelerator, there is a rattling/knocking noise that fades once I'm at speed or if I accelerate hard. It will return if I press the accelerator lightly while on the road. The sound is coming from the front of the car. It doesn't change with speed or when I turn. Also, the oil light will flicker on for a second sometimes when I accelerate up hills

I just brought a 2006 sorento and I can't get fm radio to work , am works fine , when switched to fm I get the sound likes there's no aerial , it's the horrible sound of static only ? Any ideas

2004 Sorrento, with 100,000 miles, call maintenance all the time problem when pulling all you hear clock like the shaft is popping

I have a 2016 Kia sorento, it won’t start. Installed a new battery, checked all fuses and relays they’re all good. Radio and lights work.
Doesn’t even make any noise when trying to start it. Any idea what it could be?

I have a 2013 Kia Sorento. I made a brief stop where I shut the car off for 5 minutes or so. When I got back in and tried to start it, it wouldn't start. Someone came and tried to jump start it, but it didn't work. I could hear the engine trying to turn over. There was a whirring, whizzing, spinning type of noise. I thought it was probably the starter, so I ended up having it towed to a shop. It was the starter. Three days and $700 later, I finally got the car back.

Car wouldn't start, just clicking noise. Jump started it with jump box, it ran and started up fine for a couple days then it did it again.

Took off quick; heard loud rear bang now has a clunking noise which was 6/10 noise 2 days later its down to a 2/10 noise. Have taken it to a mechanic, nothing broken nor is there any leaks. Could not find the problem...

All of a sudden I have no picture but still the beeps...

Could it be a fuse? And if so, which fuse would it be as is not listed individually.

My 2011 Sorento makes whining noises when you give it gas, and it gave me trouble cranking today.

Hi there am...I have kia sorento 2004. The car turned of itself most of the times I tried to accelerate. One day I dint get to start it at all till I replaced the whole starter...I drove it for nearly a month then one day on the motor way it started making some bell ringing noise with fumes coming from the back of the engine. I stopped but it couldn't start. Now at machenic...they say fuel pump and ejector gone what should I do...coz to replace ingine is very expensive...anyone help please!
